there's a whole arc where he's called hugo. there's flash forwards, and sideways, he's called hugo quite a bit.

I think after shows like Game of Thrones, which have graphic actual incest, the step-sibling one-night stand of Boone and Shannon doesn't seem *too* bad anymore, lol.

Boone and Shannon were not related. What they had that night in Sydney wasn't incest. Also, John Locke was a screwed up and controlling man. And Hurley's man child behavior in this episode was annoying to me.

That exercise Locke put Boone through could have backfired. Boone seeing her dead in his hallucination could have made him more concerned for her and obsessed with looking out for her or monitoring her or being there for her. Either way, it was a warped exercise.

@@iceman10129 is it really that hard to get? the show first sets him up to be a creep or atleast off putting, then he does some nice things and ur thinking "okay hes not that bad". than he does a mix of weird and nice stuff and ur just like ?????? im currenctly watching this show and just am about to finish s3 and im *still* not quite sure what to make of him... like i dont think of him as a creep anymore or in anyway a bad guy, hes just.... confusing. also obviously dont spoil for me but yeah just my 2 cents

Oh my goodness this was great! Dude, when that phone rang and Nikki answered I was like REALLY? Then that conversation happened and I was laughing my butt off. My sister's boyfriend is the same. And then Nikki's reaction to Shannon was AWESOME. Nikki's screaming out of fear, and then crying for Shannon because she thought she was dead and then hates her the next minute after finding out she used Boone and has been stealing her family's money and then is gobsmacked to find out Locke made Boone hallucinate and therefore his sister never died, SMH. Oh boy, so many emotions! The BEST! Nikki in the meantime is thinking Locke is a psycho and Shannon's a rude buttface. Good to know! lol. All of this just confirms that Nikki is so not gonna be ready EVER for this show. This show will wreck her with so many emotions.... Thank you Surj!!! - Yvette

I know this series is ages old and this reaction series alone is over 3 years old, but I just started to watch Lost and I love to watch your reactions after I watch the episodes, but I really wish Nikki wouldn't have said "I know he's gonna die" because I did not know that, so is there more spoilers in these reactions or should i not just watch these before I watch the whole series?

That part in the beginning was so funny. :D And like other people have said, these Nikki's reactions are just wonderful. Her reactions to the episodes, and the other things she says. (And she is beautiful.) Also how Suraj reacts to Nikki's reactions. And that it's just her and Suraj. Less people, more quality. Less is more. And the editing in these is great. These are like Avatar videos were. There is the difference with editing something that you really like, or with just... something.

Yes, these are more interesting to watch. Just few people reacting is almost always better than group reactions. There is more watching the episodes and thoughts about the show. With groups it's mostly just people talking loudly over each others and shouting.

I disagree that there weren't signs before this epsode of Boone being obsessed with Shannon. It was just played as sibling affection and annoyance because it was seen through other character's eyes.

Just ... understanding some words in English like "Beautiful" doesn't mean speaking English or understanding complete sentences, and being able to communicate with English-speaking people (Jin understood when Sayid asked him who gave him the bottle of water, and then he showed Sawyer ... and Jin doesn't speak English either), so the secret about the fact Sun actually speaks English is still well kept.

I'm 6 years late to this binge party, but still wanted to tell Suraj he didn't spoil Hugo's name. He told Jack his name was really Hugo Reyes in the episode where he was making the census. The name that got spoiled was James Ford on the box of Sawyer's Funko pop. By the way, I'm resisting most every urge I have to comment since I'm sure y'all aren't interested in six year late comments, but I'm loving getting to binge the whole series worth of reactions. My cat died yesterday and this has been the only thing to make me feel better. I don't understand the Kate Hate, like at all,but that may be because I've always related to her. We had similar childhoods. And Jack and Kate are my biggest OTP of all time so I could be biased. She frustrates me as much as the next guy, but I still love her. Evangeline Lilly acted the hell outta her role too, and I'm pretty sure this was her first major role. Anyway, Nikki is HILARIOUS to watch and Suraj is a treat to see revisit what is obviously a major fandom in his universe. Ok, back to my depression binge. Can't wait to see your reaction to the season one finale trilogy and season two premiere. I miss Desmond Hume way too much when I rewatch season one.

@@Thenormies I can totally get past her Kate Hate cause she makes me laugh so much, and I can already tell she's warming up to Jin and at the end of the day that's what matters 😂 besides, her hate reads more as frustration, and she seems to like her paired with Claire and Sun soooo.... She's forgiven. She loves Jack and Hurley so she already earned all the cool points. I'll be finishing season one and starting season 2 today and I cannot wait to get my errands done so I can binge!

Aside from his medical knowledge, Jack is totally useless. Locke has actual survival skills and has already demonstrated a lot more wisdom than Jack. I'm in camp Locke, all the way.

I'm in camp Claire over Jack. I feel like anybody else could have been a better leader. Great, he's a surgeon, and the show caters to that a few times, but mostly, he's just as useless as anybody else. It's weird how they all blindly follow him because Day One he saved someone.

Totally, tying someone in a jungle with animals and unknown monsters and expecting them to get out is sure very wise. Throw in some philosophy, even more wise. And great way of putting surviving skills to use by spending most time to open a hatch than trying to find a pregnant woman or actually hunting some food.

Stacey King Doesn't he like keeps on patching people up throughout the series. Surgeries are actually very tiring to perform. More than half would have been dead sooner, they were very lucky to have a surgeon with them. I think both Jack and Locke do enough for people by this point and lets add the fact that Jack is less creepy and nosy. I'll give Locke credit for getting Vincent back, hunting boars for a few days, saving Jack and helping Charlie out with his drug problem and a few advices here and there. And Jack till now has just saved a person stuck beneath a propeller, saved pregnant Claire and Hurley, given Rose CPR all in the pilot, tried to save the Marshal, saved Boone from drowning, getting the transceiver from the cockpit meanwhile helping Charlie. Also again helping Charlie, specifically bringing him back to life. Finding the water source and caves (even though it was incidental). Saving Sawyer's life after his artery got cut. Helping Shannon control her asthma attack. But ofcourse such a useless guy. He should add some philosophical quotes to have a better impact i guess. I will go with camp Jack, atleast i know he'll try to search for you instead of saying you were a sacrifice the island demanded.
