Sending much love to Yannis for sharing some of his personal life with us, he didn’t have to be so open, and it is very nice to get to know him a little better. He is the kind of gentle, hard working person who helps renew my faith in humankind.

Yanis has been a wonderful addition to the Petherick crew. I remember seeing him first working with Sadie and then Billy. He has changed, grown, and learned so much. His energy is contagious!

What a wonderful idea to interview Yannis, I thought I couldn’t like him anymore but his love for his mother and dogs has taken my respect for him to new heights. I think it’s so wonderful that the team has taken him under their wings, he seems to be such a hard worker with such a willingness to learn. It’s a win-win!

When a man publicly and without embarrasment says he loves his mum, then in my book he is alright with me, my son up to the day before he died at 15 always said he loved me, those days will always be in my memory. Thank you Yanis

Even before the interview, I knew he had to be a kind and loving person. Animals and small children seem to be drawn to him. I loved when he said that his favorite thing to do is demolition. Everybody loves to tear things up, but he’s actually learning how to put them back together beautifully as well. I live in Seattle, Washington, and if he would decide to tour the United States, I would welcome him here.

So much was already evident in his behavior. Yanis working. Yanis playing with children. Yanis dancing with dogs. Yanis hugging the people he loves. It's a joy to hear it confirmed in his own words.

Months before my father passed he said to me, Gerry, you work like I used too. I was 51 at the time. All my life growing up my father who was a carpenter told us four boys, don't be a carpenter its hard work. Be a Doctor, a lawyer, any profession that wasn't so physical. Then weeks before he passed he also told me, Gerry I'm glad you became a carpenter even though I told you four boys not to become one. The two best compliments he said to me. I have had the honor to,give my work ethic to my own son (now 51), and two nephews now in their 40s). Today watching this interview, seeing you learn from such wonderful people, I want to say to you....YANIS, YOU WORK LIKE I USED TOO. So much energy, a great look at life, and a passion for the future. Thany you for sharing with us viewers ❤

Nothing more perfect than hearing from dear Yannis. He has evolved into such a self-assured and caring young man. Even carrying the children on his shoulders in previous videos tells you of his gentleness-while growing into so many skills with the best of teachers, generation on generation of wonderful knowledge to be passed down. All of us are blessed with this series.

The appreciation I have for Yanis watching this channel just grows exponentially seeing this interview. Also my appreciation for what I've grown to think of as the extended Petherickverse channels including Sean's World, Life of Ryan, The Magical Moons, Sadie's channel, Michael's channel and Phil's channel as well as the amazing people who don't have channels like Simon and Rick but we see how awesome they are and know their work. They all have in common a restorative kindness and sense of community we could use a lot more of in this world. Yanis is an exemplar of this restorative kindness, may the best of life and love find him and all his dreams come true.

As someone who was brought up speaking French ( Even though I’m English! ), it really is lovely to hear Yanis be able to converse in his native language. We know he’s doing really well at picking up and getting by in English… But… This really does add another dimension to the person and human being he is. He’s extremely articulate, really eloquent, and recounts his life, his past, his experiences, who he is, and his time so far with the Pethericks beautifully. This was absolutely brilliant. Yanis, I too had a dog who was half-wolf. He was a great friend to me, though he could become irritated suddenly, though juat as quickly he could be calmed. He was often silly, too but very affectionate. I grew up in a household of brothers and we had all sorts of animals: snakes, turtles, rabbits, iguana... how our parents put up with us I do not know. Eventually, the turtles and snakes were repatriated into their proper ecosystems. My family restored historic buildings and we all learned great skills from ralented craftsmen. So, I very much appreciate your sharing some of your lifestory with us. You are a strong and talented craftsman yourself, and as is the whole team. Best to everyone on the team, including those who are elsewhere at the moment. Crack on!
