In my culture it is more common for the women to cook and clean. And I like to cook for my man. But only if he washes the dishes after, helps me or cooks when I’m too busy or not feeling good. There has to be a balance and the household work needs to be shared. It’s actually fun to do it together. Then it’s finished faster and you two have more time together

Yep I agree, especially if both people in the house work full time. I do more of the cooking at home, because I have more experience (and I enjoy it!) but it's balanced out by my partner taking on more of the other household chores.

In Africa culture generally when ur asked to be submissive its not in a slave like way. It's just to say respect ur husband and the husband has to cherish his wife. love her and provide for her and she does whatever it is she can do to help. Usually in African culture it's not that big of a deal as she was making it. She took it quiet litteraly

Both of my chemistry professors were Nigerian and I have to say the focus they have on their families is amazing. The way they speak of their wives is like they are queens. My second professor constantly spoke of his family his wife and children with such pride. Nigerian culture may be different from American culture but from what ive seen they are absolutely not treating women like slaves they have such a family focus that I respect so much. I agree with you she’s a nutcase I feel so sorry for Michael

Why do women think cooking for their man is so degrading? I cook for my girlfriend all the time. She cooks for me. I can't stand women who think they take some kind of a stand because they refuse to cook. I'm sorry everybody should learn how to cook and if you can't cook then you're a piss poor human being. Cooking brings families together cooking ends feuds, food is one thing we all have in common. We have to eat to survive. It's a consideration thing. There's a big difference between a woman having pride and a woman having an ego.
