There’s several reasons she’s looking overseas for a husband. She’s shown those reasons repeatedly. She probably couldn’t even find someone local with shared interests, experiences, and beliefs because they wouldn’t have the patience to deal with her abrasive personality and all her shenanigans.

I watched them the first season and I thought Angela got a lot of hate because of her looks. She was like a CNA at a nursing home or something (they make crap money and have literally the crappiest jobs where you're literally changing adult diapers and having to scoop poo out of someone's butt) and they interviewed a coworker who thought highly of her and I thought, this is a lonely woman with a big heart, people watching on KZfaq are being so cruel. She had to scrimp and save for a long time to afford a trip to Nigeria because CNAs don't get paid enough, I respect her dedication to this cause. Then I watched a few more episodes and I was like WTF, she is the god damned devil incarnate
