One thing I absolutely love is how the Bad Batch improves the “More of Us” message in Rise of Skywalker. The face that the Bad Batch never gave up on Omega and cared for her ended up paying off to the last fight in the Skywalker Saga by biting Palpatine in the ass and robbing him of a proper body, all because the Clones showed loyalty to their sister

The other super clones were more CX Troopers. They have numbers. Like CX-3, CX-4, CX-5, etc. The Tech one is a reg. He looses his helmet when Echo throws him and we briefly see his face being a reg

I am a total fan of 'The Bad Batch' and am sad its over. Its refreshing to see the heroes all survive, its become something of a trope getting them killed off at the end of the movie/series.

Nothing bad? Crosshair turns evil because of shitty mind control and it's never explained why he continues being evil when he removes it. Omega never matures throughout the series beyond knowing how to use a laser bow and arrow. The Bad Batch themselves continue to be idiots by trusting strangers, even after losing Tech and being betrayed by Cid. Worst of all, over half of the show was focused on filler trash that has no consequences or pay off in the finale.

Crosshair was always the "good soldiers follow orders" type of soldier in the beginning. We saw it in Season 1, he was waiting for Hunter's call to shoot the so-called "insurgents" even though they were mostly innocent people and Republic Fighters. The Empire provided him with a structured and orderly lifestyle that he likely finds meaningful, and with the empire being the dominant faction in the galaxy, Crosshair wanted to be apart of it instead of being a fugitive on the run. And what do you mean by "Omega never matures throughout the series"? In the start of the Bad Batch, we saw how Omega was a clueless child that needed guidance, but in the season finale, SHE was the leader and she helped guiding the other children in escaping. For your 3rd point, although it is somewhat true, they were desperate. You have to keep in mind that everything in the series (aside from the ending) happened within 1-2 years canonically, meaning that Tech's death was recent for them so they couldn't lose another member that fast.

@@gues.t No this is factually incorrect. Even in the very first episode, Hunter points out that Crosshair is acting completely off and obviously this is because the BB were meant to naturally be free of the mind control. When Crosshair removes his chip OFFSCREEN, we get no real explanation as to why he's still behaving differently.

At the end of S1 Ep 15, crosshair literally says “this is who i am” shortly before the empire nukes kamino. Yes we know that his inhibitor chip was half working but he always wanted to serve the empire during the S1 premiere despite it half working his feelings of being betrayed by his former squad stayed till then hence “you werent loyal to me” and its why he stayed with the empire since then.

I loved this show. Yes, is not perfect, it has its shortcomings, but really, really enjoyed it, and think the finale closed up the characters properly. I've seen many complain about the finale not answering anything, but most of the time the complaints are about "what happened to Cody? What about Rex? Wolffe?" But, dude, Cody wasn't even a recurring character, he was a cameo meant to serve Crosshair's character, he wasn't there to have an arc, and the same applys to Ventress, Gungi, Bane, or any other non bad batch exclusive character. Overall this is a good show. Not a masterpiece by any means, but is my favorite Star Wars show. It just clicked with me. I'm really sad to see it go.

That's not the issue. The main issue is that this show has been hyping up and teasing the Clone uprising since the beginning just to have it be an afterthought at the end. We did not need Cody or Rex to show up, but simply to have the show give more attention to the main conflict, while still balancing it with Omega's story.

@@elementaljedi9335 One thing I realized about this "clone uprising" thing, is that neither this nor any other audioviual SW media has EVER promised or even mentioned a clone uprising. What Rex is doing MIGHT be the start of a clone uprising (something one would think Rex would have mentioned in Rebels), but we don't know, and even if it is, the batch is just mildly involved with it. We see the batch's perspective of the things in this show, not Rex's. What little involvement they have on Rex's operations is to serve their plot, not the clone rebellion plot. For example; when Rex calls them because he found a CX (S3), he does it because Omega's on the wanted list of said CX, not because the batch is involved with his clone rebellion thing (which is why Echo left). This triggers the other operative (CX-2) finding Omega and hunting them down all the way to Pabu. That supposed clone uprising plot serves the batch plot here, not the other way around. For a show focused on that clone uprising people want, then it woud have to be a show specifically about that, this was a story about this particular family group of clones.

Great video man, I grew up on the Clone Wars and that was a lot of my childhood. The clone troopers are some of my favorite characters. What I thought the clone wars show and the bad batch did well was making them their own characters. Thats why it sucks when we see they come and go. The clones were breed to be identical and loyal soldiers and what those shows did well was giving them their own personalities and I think that’s why they’re such compelling characters. I think their story is just as important to starwars as a whole as any other character. Some of the best story Arcs in the clone wars show was about the clone troopers. Domino squad, umbara arc, the entirety of the bad batch show etc. I had my complaints with the bad batch series but overall I felt like it was an amazing end to the series and I think there is a lot of story to tell with some of these other characters like Omego, Echo, Rex etc.

I never got any romantic vibes between Echo and Emerie, it feels like they respected each other, nothing more. The disrespect on Scorch is the worst. He was Delta's kid-type character and they turned him into a scary bad guy (Different Paintjob Commando, ranked Commander and named "Scorch") under the big bad guy (Hemlock, a notorious poison) who works for the bigger bad guy (Tarkin) who works for the biggest bad guy (Palpatine). The Purple Sniper was the best looking guy from the Teth cell. I love me anything that could 187th, even though that brother had a very different paintjob from the 187th. The Operatives were lame. Like, oh yeah sure they're brainwashed clones, but where the fuck on Kamino did they learn vibroblade and electrostaff techniques lmao? Either way, I'm glad they didn't revive Tech. Overall, Season 3 was great, nothing felt like filler or too kids-oriented. Season 1 and 2 had quite enough of filler bad batch when the opposite with Crosshair genuinely being interesting.

I think you answered your own question when describing what they did/didn't do with the camandos. At this point, they were stripped of their humanity by the empire, void of personality and a shell of what they once were. Especially Scorch, reduced to nothing more than Hemlock's lap dog.

Idk Crosshair gets literally brainwashed and shown the cruelty of the empire firsthand, even committing crimes as bad. I really don't think the character development for him in particular lands very well, not for me at least. Flawed but fun show that I really appreciated, still sad it's gone.

Season 1 outside of the first episode was ass in my opinion but pretty much season 2 onward was pure gold. With the only complaint I have is the way they handled scorch

As a huge Star Wars and especially Clone Wars Fan Im insanely dissapointed. This show was like „lets take everything we have learned in the past 10+ years of animated SW and just ignore it“. They promised us Clone Wars, but we got Rebels, which is why half of the characters got little to no development, every legacy character is more interesting than new ones, 80% is pointless filler with too many unnecessary cameos and never did it more feel like the creators had no plan and just trusted the process. It saddens me that we are at a point where people sugarcoat objectively bad shows because 20% of a season was enjoyable.

It was mostly aimed at fans of the clone wars show lbh. The writing is not good enough to really pass as more though. The fans wanting dumb things like Tech being alive or needing to see Rex and Wolfe get their at te and go to their rebels starting point is frustrating. I'm fine with filler, the character development is just so clearly the bigger issue for me personally. So many things are gotten right like art direction and world building even fan service is enough and never too much. Just let Hunter, Omega and others actually grow as characters though, Hunter is so stagnant for example.

The season was most disappointing. The series got vastly overshadowed in my eyes by Xmen97. Seeing in actual good show with actual emotion kinda just soiled Bad batch for me. The whole season felt rushed and they still squeezed in some episodes that didn’t matter

I’m curious as if one of the CX troopers was Dogma. It would make sense to me that one of Hemlock’s original experiments would be the first clone to kill a Jedi. Especially since Dogma was arrested by the Republic.
