I think reverse migration is the wrong word to say unless you work in Philippine based company and is paid in pesos. But if you are filam/ filcanadian or other filsomething that works for a company based outside of Philippines is not called reverse migration but more like an expat and there’s nothing wrong with calling yourself an expat . Just my 2 cents 😂😂

Lol. I don’t understand that either. Okay, I was slightly older than him when I moved to the midwest (by myself). Been here 27 years, most of my friends are white…yet I’m still very very fluent in Tagalog, Bisaya, and Chavacano. I have pinoy friends who moved here in their early teens (13 or 14), and they still speak in Tagalog and Bisaya (and yes, they speak/sound very American when speaking english). Just different mentality I suppose.

Whoa! Myke's been my facebook friend for about 10 years lol I don't know how we became fb friends but I don't have fb right now. MYKE IS LIKE THE HITCH (Will Smith's character) OF CANADA. I also moved back to the Philippines pre pandemic and managed to own 6 gyms and 1 Japanese restaurant. I also used to stay in BGC. Sad that covid obliterated my businesses. Back to Canada for now as a nurse but I am feeling restless here. I know my purpose is in the Philippines. I shall return! ☝️🙏

He stayed in the Philippines 1year after moving back from Saudi. He basically Grew up in Saudi Arabia. My son would be thesame. Sometimes Filipinos think thesame no matter how they stayed outside longer. The difference with kids growing up outside Philippines is more realistic not negative. Filipino bitter spirit is very obvious really. Do you even know how they communicate at home?

I am based out of Cebu right now, it took like 2 months of house hunting to find a place with decent stable internet. How hard or easy is it in Manila to find a condo rental with verified 300 mbps down and 300 up internet? Thanks man
