I used to be able to do this with a darkroom when I was a teenager.

Why do you use a mask mode and then a brush? Wouldn't it be faster to use "Select mask" and then "select subject"? Just curious. Great tutorial :D!

Thanks Catherine, doing it this way will give that 'not perfect' edge which matches the originals better.
