As a old nurse trust me people are going to find something negative about you if they look for it. As a travel nurse people judged me before I even opened my mouth. I agree about going directly to that person and it’s up to them what they do with the info. Also the reality is if you talk about other people be ok with them talking about you too.

Brandi I have been watching you for a couple of years. I have observed that you are rational, logical, caring, intelligent, mature, nurturing, grounded, objective with a beautiful spirit. Some professions are toxic and nursing is one of them. It just is. You are right on the money with the back biting, passive aggressive, negging, and messiness. Stand firm.

Yes I’m currently finishing up my prerequisite for the nursing program, I’m currently working in a hospital as a pct I been there for 4years and the nurses are very messy I’m glade I my experiencing it now though because I know how I’m coming once I get my degree in nursing, I feel you must know who you are and stand confident when you work in a hospital setting because if you don’t they will run all over you!

This is why I left nursing school. I dont know if I can tolerate such drama without my mental health suffering. I already suffer from anxiety and depression as for to put me out there for the wolves to get me. Besides I'm a foreigner and that just would add to the whole thing as you mentioned it

@@sammy69831I’m a empath as well..that’s why I have not darted the doors to work at a hospital as a new nurse. However, one day I want to become a WHNP. So completing a residency in Mother/Baby, L&D, followed by a few years before transitioning into NP program. I already know hospital setting is not my thing permanently.

Me blurting that out loud to all the supervisors in a meeting was me reporting it. But yes there is a better way to do it. But honestly it doesn’t always result in them doing anything. I had an ADON jokingly reference another nurse as being on drugs…I was like uhm if you know this why are you telling me and not telling the state board of nursing 🤷🏾‍♀️
