Yeah i’m trying to remember how long ago it was but there was like at least for a month or two every Friday a take over thing where it used to be an old Kmart parking lot and it still is but it’s barricaded off now but people used to do big donuts in the middle of the parking lot with I would say easy I don’t know 150 people or something at least 100 but then one time while I was there a couple gun shots rang and everyone fled because I heard from word of mouth less than an hour later From some people that were from the beach that I randomly met up at at the gas station across the street from that parking lot across the street from the bank in the same parking lot as a Kmart parking lot and it had something to do with like a drug deal gone wrong or something in the corner of the parking lot. It was too bad that ruined it because everything is going fine and I don’t think anyone got hit at all there might’ve been one person or maybe they just fell from jumping out of the way last minute but they were OK afterwards. I totally get that it can be fun trying to like run around the car or whatever while it’s drifting or even getting in the center of where they’re doing donuts but I’ve never done that and I guess I don’t understand the point otherwise and why risk it when you can enjoy it plenty well enough from the outside of the ring and when I was on the outside watching it I was probably at minimum 20 feet away whether I’m at the front of the crowd of people or in the middle of the crowd. According to word of mouth it started as a car meet around five something usually but then a couple hours later it turned into doing donuts after people got bored of just chillin. I remember at one point for like 10 minutes they brought a couch in the middle of it that they were just going to get rid of and a couple of people were just sitting on the couch as they were doing donuts around them. I even swung it a few times in there in my straight piped 1981 Datsun 200 SX the little bronze car two door coupe rear wheel drive with a manual 5 speed transmission.
