Are you always looking for new recipes that make your favorite dishes a little healthier? Maybe you want to eat a little less or no meat at all. Then you should try my recipe for mushroom patties. It's simple and doesn't require many ingredients. The mushrooms provide the hearty flavor and you may know the spices from your own meatball / patty recipe. Or as we say in my native Berlin: Buletten ;)
RECIPE:
400 g mushrooms
½ cup oatmeal
1 large onion, finely chopped or grated
½ cup walnuts, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed
½ cup panko
Pepper and salt
Spices such as thyme, paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons ketchup
Optional: 1-2 tbsp. soy sauce
