It sucks that I could succinctly explain why this keeps happening, but it would sound weird and conspiratorial without knowledge of European leftist philosophy going back almost 80 years. The bottom line is that there is a significant group of leftist thought leaders in academia for whom normalizing pedophilia is a project they've been working on for decades. It is related to the "blank slate" conception of human development, ideas of social constructivism, and sex positivity.

iirc, Milo Y had just come out and decided to obliterate his career by saying he had *that* done to him as a child and saw it as a positive experience, and Voosh was talking about that. The other half of his sentence, which got cut off, was saying that the vast majority of such incidents are overwhelmingly negative, so you ban it anyways. i.e. Even if you assume Milo's telling the truth, you still don't allow that stuff.
