Everytime I listen to Hamza I learn so much, and it opens my minds to new avenues to explore thoughts into different ideas

28:00 It's so true, some people in the dawa community are doing too much to come across as dominant and masculine. This pseudo masculinity comes across as performative and very off-putting. I worry it is harming the da'wa effort.

I don't know why Hamza is an extremely relatable person to me, the easiest scholar so far even as a woman n as an empath I embrace these types of vibes, when I listen to him it's like the man of this earth as compare to most of the scholars n da'es i feel like they are aliens n not from here, so hard to relatable as a human being. It's not a compliment it's a soul thing. Maybe people here will agree with me?

Humza is a great asset, amazing brother. I really like the Host , the way he add his points to the conversation when its required. The host is very good at directing the discussion while not overtaking it.

The only muslim podcast i listen regularly is 5 pillars's blood brothers podcast.. this could be another muslim podcast i would listen regularly.. keep it up brother..

On Br. Hamza's viewpoints regarding Andrew tate's qualities-It isn't obvious to me how one can receive a message positively, even if it is essentially good and all well-meaning, but is conveyed in a manner which is clearly opposite to what Quran has outlined. Is it possible for young people to look at good and bad separately when both are interwined? I think if one talks in a sensational voice without introspecting it, then it just elucidates the impression that he hasn't internalised his own message in the first place. The insistence on such voice being beneficial in any way seems incorrect.

You discussed Pakistan, what do you think of newer schools of thought in the region like Mr. Ghamdi. A significant number of young population follows him and his core ideas with critical replies are present on his channel with English subtitles. He has some new ideas regarding the methodology of fiqh, though in no way they can be termed modernist imo. Would love to hear your or your team's opinion on that Hamza.

One thing that needs to be spoken about is social media, is highly problematic in the sense we can't see body language, it dumbs down EQ. Hence the arguments etc. By looking at someone's body language you'll know how to approach and if you should approach them.

I really appreciate brother Hamza Tzortzis may Allah grant him his Rahma. But I think he is wrong in this matter. This idea of "hierarchy" is based upon the assumption that the protective role of men is inherently superior to the guardianship role of women as the Quran describes it. This is not necessarily true. A man need his wife emotional support and feminine attributes to face the hardships of the external world. A woman need the physical protection, force and masculine attributes of her husband to be happpy and safe; only then she will be an emotional support for the family. See, this is the trap in which many falls in. We need to accepts that God create us equal in dignity, but different in roles. If there is a hierarchy, this hierarchy can be only temporary, depending on the situation. And Allah knows best.

As a muslim feminist myself the problem is both sides,just like you say scholars not teaching men to be masculine we can also say scholars are not teaching islam fairly for girls to love the islamic way of being a woman either,its just not possible to teach girls is that all she must do is sit at home and look after and obey her husband while he can have 4 wives he doesnt even need to have the respect to tell her about and shes forbidden from achieving anything in life for herself if her husband says no and if she is disobedient to him he can miswakbeat her otherwise she is a feminist....this is all i learnt from madressa marriage is like for women.Where do you ever hear scholars teach quran (42:38) "the believing men and women conduct their affairs by mutual consultation" apparently they made this verse mustahab lol so no matter how kind you are to women they want to do something fulfilling for herself other than always looking after others which im not saying she musnt just not all the time its 2023...untill this is taught most girls are going to go the khadija ra way from young ages because islam for her the other way is just not appealing either.Just like boys find the high value man top G man best likewise women find khadija ra the top G'ess lol of females best to strive for. We have scholars teaching a woman cant visit her own parents if the husband says no, Scholars teaching women are basically dogs that men do not even have to consult us when they take other wives and then you have muslim men throwing that down our throats l,ofcourse then muslim girls going to combat that to say its not my duty then cook or do anything in islam where does it say that either.......If they taught consultation i think more women would be happier to want to be stay at home wives.I never heard 1 scholar tell boys being qawwaam does not mean you can tell your wife she cant leave the house when you going everywhere and not consulting her also,the fairness factor for me seems to be missing in the way scholars teach islam today that makes women want to go the other way..... Another big issue that no one is addressing is regarding giving your wife a savings if shes not working,our fathers want us to be financially ok in the case of divorce,why isnt anyone addressing the divorce issues and so many women fighting for maintenance.....its easy to say women should want to sit at home but what about the money issue,no one wants to know they dont have any savings if things go south,this is a hard pill to swollow for men but this is what is causing the issue,which woman will work a hard days job if she was fully convinced in divorce she would be financially well off,why should she go ask her father and brothers for money now that shes divorced when she could have worked and saved and looked after ger husband...Believe it or not this is the exact reason women working.

If I had an input in a curriculum I'd want to make sure the youth understand baraqah of time and routine.

Brother Hamza is the person that I see as the top young contemporary scholar. There are so many "scholars" running around all over the place but one feels an intense repulsion from them because they are so ego-driven, self-righteous and belligerant. This brother is wise and humble and represents the best qualities of a Momin which is "Taqwa".

While I recommend physical fitness and martial arts for Muslim men, I must mention that hitting the face is Haram according to many scholars, because The Prophet peace be upon him said, "If somebody fights (or beats somebody) then he should avoid the face." - Sahih al-Bukhari 2559. Therefore, I don't recommend kickboxing for this particular reason. I conclude by reminding myself and the believing Muslim men and women to always be near scholars to receive knowledge and ask questions. Those who are closer to scholars are likelier to be guided than those who are closer to social media stars; and Allah knows best.

Hamza's advice to Andrew is so perfect for anyone looking to start or return to their journey to Allah. someone ready to flee to Allah.

I don't see how it insinuates this considering you can be against both left and right. Hamza himself was accusing certain Muslims of adopting leftist discourse but that doesn't mean he is adopting akh right narrative so I think he is being inconsistent.

I believe it would be a step towards a more decolonized understanding of the Qur'an to understand that Allah has no gender, as Allah is both Creator and all creation, with no equal or counterpart. The Prophet (PBUH) was and is indeed a man, but English has many of us using the word "he" in the place of Allah. It feels like the Judeo-Christian conception of "god" every time we use the incorrect term "he" to refer to Allah, and can evoke conceptions of some Zeus-like figure, which is an abstraction, and only helps the liberal inquisition's propaganda and characterization of Islam as patriarchal. The term "pater familia" comes from Latin, hence patriarchy... for example, a Roman's daughters would be named according to the father's family, so a member of Julius Caesar's clan's daughters would be known as Julia I, Julia II, Julia III etc. That is the original patriarchy and its subsequent imperialist regime that attacked/colonized Africans and Arabs, and its civic model of society still persecutes and criminalizes Muslims to this day by its most explicit embodiment today, Amerikkka).
