Kalekye you are right,,our grandparents and parents gave us wrong information about other tribes, and the sad thing, wakenya wengi wameendeleza hii ushenzi,,,I decided I will never talk ill of other tribes,,kama sijajionea,,,,and there is absolutely nothing, you can tell me about my tribe niskie vibaya,I love my tribe (typical Kikuyu) and I respect other tribes, what you think about them,it's upon you,,,if you got something against luos, luhyas, kales, kaos, sijui akina nani,it's none of my business,,I'm what I am today coz of luos,,99% of my customers are luos, may God bless them

The grandparents did not misinform you. Listen to them, learn from their generation, then judge for yourself Some cultures are so different from your own, and you can choose to adopt to their culture or not. But still respect other tribes.

@@teresiawachira1034 Your Grand parents were the most Brainwashed by the Colonial powers with religion. Polygamy has always been a universal African Culture. Hating Luos for maintaining this culture is just showing effects of mental Slavery.

As much as you may call some things stereotype, there's always a. Element of truth. The more you interact with people from other cultures, the more you realize some of these notions are true. But we should learn to tolerate each other's differences and let those who want to break this barriers be. Afterall, experience is the best teacher! Blessings

One thing about Luos, they are always true and fully attached to their families. Luos love and cherish. Luos love the truth and honesty. Most of them are not greedy and they won't eat or take what's not theirs. In my village we have married women from Kamba, Kikuyu, Taita, Kisii, Luhya and their lives are progressing well. Let's stop these archaic and narrow stereotypes.
