Hi guys I love the reaction videos keep up the good work. This song was written for the fans. Also on a side note Paul Stanley the lead singer was born without a ear and is deaf on one side. What was astonishing to me is that he chose music. He had a ear constructed from cartilage from it his rib cage but nothing could be done about being deaf on one side. On a lighter note, My wife says that Paul Stanley is prettier than her. I hope you enjoy. MJ

Crazy NIght is not only my favorite KISS album, but one of my favorite albums of all time. I think I was 19 when it was released. I searched for years for the remastered CD version, which for some reason was not available in Germany, where I live. Ten years ago I bought the remastered CD in Italy in an airport store.

Kiss “Crazy Nights” music video was filmed August 8th of 1987 at Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. There’s 3 long videos of the making of/separate raw camera angles of the video (etc. 4 takes of Eric Carr drumming or 6 takes of Gene Simmons on Bass). Kiss even played a four song mini concert afterwards to thank the audience for putting up with the long video session. They performed: Cold Gin Lick It Up Detroit Rock City Whole Lotta Love (Led Zepplin cover)

Yes, Paul has Microtia and is death on that ear. He was bullied when he was young, they called him "Stanley the one-eared monster" all the time. He did actually try out some device that would give him stereo hearing for the first time. But it was so odd and confusing to him that he didn't want to keep it. Love this song!

4/25/90 Pirate Radio here in LA was having a contest. The prize was a chance to see KISS at the Reseda Country Club. This was an intimate show that only contest winners were allowed into. The contest was simple and that was listen for your chance to win tickets and be the right caller. I had my whole life crew trying to get tickets. I would be at work listening and when the time came I would call and always hear " Thanks for listening to Pirate Radio, but you are not the right caller" There was even a part of the contest that required the listener to decipher a mangled audio clip and guess the song. I was able to get through and was the right caller. I guessed Stevie Nicks. It was Shout it Loud by KISS. I thought they were trying to trick us and not be so obvious. I'm an idiot! Anywhoos,the day of the show my friend and I showed up with $100 each to try to score tickets. We asked other winners, stood in a huge waiting list line etc. We were not successful in any attempt we made. I told my friend to stay in the line I had an idea. I was able to see how the radio station was handling the winners tickets. You walk up, tell them your name, address and the day or night you won and they would check a list. Thank god they were so disorganized. I calmly walked up to the box office, and gave them all the information they needed. Of course I was not on the list but they had no clue and it was complete chaos in that box office. I'm a good actor and and was completely convincing. One of the radio managers, who clearly afraid of losing his job, came over to my window where I was pleading my case and asked what the issue was. I gave him the same routine and in a way to just make me go away I was given two tickets. I calmly left the window turned the corner to the immense line by now and waived two tickets to my friend at the back of the line. To this day he still has no clue how I was able to pull it off. Nor do I.The universe saw how loyal I was to KISS and the cause and gave me a break. Great show! Even met the band.

This is one of my favorite KISS songs and I'm so happy that you both reacted to it. KISS has always been all about their fans no matter what has gone on in the band. Through the lineup changes, loss of members due to passing away, turmoil between members, all the feuding and everything in between the one constant was them always putting on the biggest, loudest and most memorable shows for their fans. This song is a perfect example of their love and devotion to their fans. I'm loving all the KISS reactions. Try I wanna rock and roll all night (the music video) It's a pretty wild video!

I have to say.....some may say this is a cheazy song or something negative, but it makes you want to sing along. I saw this tour and although I wasn't a huge fan of some of the music they made during this time, Kiss always had one you could sing along to.....at the show. On that note, it really was an amazing accomplishment for the band to transition into that hair band era. It was a time of serious competition. Bands were being signed over one ballad, but most didn't last. Kiss did. You just have to give them credit for how hard of workers they are....especially Paul Stanley. That guy never gave up.

Saw KISS in '88 at a Monsters of Rock show in Donington Park, UK!!! This, IMHO, is the BEST lineup EVER in KISStory, with the late Eric Carr(RIP) on drums and Bruce Kulick on lead guitar. Saw them again a few years later in Germany during their "Hot In The Shade" tour!!! At the Monsters of Rock that KISS headlined, Judas Priest and Guns n' Roses opened... WHAT A SHOW!!! One of the BEST shows I have EVER been too, along with 200k+ others....

This was Paul Stanley’s peak period when it came to his vocals. The Crazy Nights album is considered a more commercial pop metal sounding album akin to Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet with some of Paul’s best song writing is on this album.

Seeing Kiss in Seattle 1988 when Paul Stanley used a fight in the in crowd as an excuse to pule a fan up on stage and "pretend" to kick is ass, endind with Gene "pulling Paul's guitar out of his hands 'just in time' " to prevent Paul from hitting the guy with it. I was on acid that night, so when Paul said "we've got a coupla pussies here tonight", I thought he was talking to me and was ready to go get in his face. Then he says "There's one right there" pulled the guy up by his hair. And I was like "oh, not me, your luckey man." Lol Then Detroit Rock City kicked in and on with the night went.

Helpful tip: don't pause during the chorus/the best part of the song. You did every chorus. One pause is enough if you're wanting to reduce the chances of your video being blocked.

I was there for the video shoot. Paul is walking on a plank over the crowd. Everyone was instructed not to touch Paul in case he fell. Some idiot of course did, and Paul called him a motherfucker!

My wife and I were two of the 19,000 to see KISS for their last Michigan performance, in Detroit, on October 20 2023. Paul Stanley actually sang better than I expected he would but his guitar playing still sucks. Tommy Thayer was amazing as always but the solo from Eric Singer was not one of his best. Gene was Gene. His voice sounds incredible 😱 to this day. He has really been keeping it in shape. I was surprised. They did 2 songs I, personally, have never heard them do - Makin Love and Do You Love Me?. Both of them were amazing. Thanks for keeping the KISS love and respect going strong.

Mid-1990s like around 98 kiss reunited with the original members add put together the first new material I'd like 15 years or so called Psycho Circus that was the name of the album the cover was 3D come to find out the show was 3D they gave us 3D glasses when we gave it so the bad would look like they're flying up above your head and of course I was stoned off my ass made it more fun to

Stanley is really his first name and kids he went to school with called him Stanley the one eared freak. It's why he grew his hair long to hide the birth defect.
