I find it funny that her gay parents look in love while her straight parents don't. Like in the scene where they are watching tv, in the gay version her dad(the one that switches out) is leaning against his husband while they are watching the tv and looks up at him in love. While the mom is leaning forward eating popcorn and ignoring her husband. The gay couple simply look happier

The whole "Santa Baby, don't you know clothes make the man" song makes me unreasonably angry because it just spits in the face of what every other Christmas story is trying to tell you about how giving presents is more an expression of intent than actual material worth and the money doesn't matter. And then this movie comes around and is like "nah man if you don't wear designer brands then obviously people in your life don't really love you"

The weird thing is this seems to be a trope? We have this movie, and then in The Christmas Mail review on Drew Gooden’s channel, Santa’s daughter speaks what I can assume to be Cantonese, but knowing the budget on these movies and how much they care about being accurate, probably not.

Something I didn’t learn until college was that the term “hook up” can mean just “get together” or connect in some romantic way (ie. make out). I had a roommate that said something about “hooking up” with a guy the night prior but in my head I was like “I was with you all night and all y’all did was make out”. I believe I said to her “hooked up?” and looked confused, to which she replied “yeah we made out” one of our other roommates confirmed. I think it’s weird and I don’t use it that way but a lot of teens do.

When I was a kid we had up to 1 meter of snow in December.....now it's not cold enough long enough for the rarely falling snow to stay ....therefore the mud.....but climate change is a hoax.
