There is no infrastructure in place to handle it. I'm glad atleast a few do understand infrastructure and the costs associated. America is not ready but the government is gonna cram it down our throats anyway

Our society has been built around the climate Earth has had for the past approximately 10,000 years. When it changes noticeably, as it has done in recent decades, then our society suffers. Global land and ocean temperature increases; rising sea levels; ice loss at Earth’s poles and in mountain glaciers; frequency and severity changes in extreme weather such as hurricanes, heatwaves, wildfires, droughts, floods, and precipitation; and cloud and vegetation cover changes. Such things will our society have to deal with in a massive scale and it will only get worse.

I absolutely agree with Representative Donalds. People who receive Medicaid/Food Stamps/TANF (or whatever the monetary benefit for families is called in various states) should be required to work a certain number of hours per month or they don't receive their benefits, period. There should also be a limit on how long someone can receive benefits - people who are disabled should be excluded from these requirements. There is much that can & should be done to reduce the massive amount of spending and in many cases wasting of tax payer dollars.

Byron Donalds is actually correct on nuclear. We are in a race toward large scale fusion energy production but most us don't know or grasp the significance. The first country to achieve it will be positioned to be the lead nation for centuries. It is very important to world history that the US achieves it first.

Nuclear power may not be the cleanest. The "light water" reactors used in the US require that the Uranium fuel be enriched (this was done on purpose, to provide cover for enriching Uranium for weapons). Enriching nuclear fuel requires a LOT of energy! And the used fuel can be recycled, but President Peanut Farmer decided to forbid this. There has been, for at least 50 years, a fully constructed nuclear fuel recycling plant near Morris, Illinois, that has never been used. Retired nuclear engineer here.
