Love the Sharks jersey! I was actually caught in the ‘94 riot. Watched the game at a bar in Yaletown and we decided afterwards to go check out the ‘party’ on Robson, completely unaware. On the way there walked around a corner right into a line of full riot gear cops. Ouch. Heard quite a few incredible stories from other people caught up in it. It was insane…watched the mob move down Granville like a wave, flipping cars and smashing windows.

Blues fan since 1968. Let me just say that’s the BEST Sharks jersey they’ve ever had. And that’s the WORST Blues jersey they’ve ever had.

@@trevnev2780 Hi Trevnev, you’re almost right. The Blues first game was October 1967 (I was 13 then). Must admit I didn’t get into Blues hockey immediately. At that time the baseball Cardinals were in the World Series against the Red Sox so St. Louisans were focused on that. Also the St. Louis FOOTBALL Cardinals were into their season (the team that crapped on us and went to Phoenix). Plus the St. Louis Hawks were playing in the NBA (now the Atlanta Hawks). So, there was a lot of sports competition in STL when the Blues were started up. So I can’t legitimately say I was there from “Day One”, but I really got into hockey right after the NFL season was over in early January 1968. And have stayed that way for 56 more years!!!
