Just a few things I see when people buy used bikes I wanted to point out what to look for. Looking to add more to this series as I think of more or see more come through the shop.

I make sure it runs and has air in the tires and a valid title in the seller’s name

That's definitely good things to check for.

@@TEAMWRIGHTEOUS the title part and it’s always best to find a bike that is titled in the person that selling its name rather than a title in somebody else’s name. Because the person that selling it that has a title in someone else’s name just bought it to flip

If you don't know what to look for, Always, always take it to a reputable shop, that you know and have it checked out. If the owner won't let you do that, move on.

That's another good thing. I'll even ride with someone if they'll pay me for my time. I've rode with some folks and caught a lot of sketchy stuff. People will quickly get over on you if you ain't careful.

@@TEAMWRIGHTEOUS absolutely you should be paid for your time. That would be money saved in the long term. People must think long term.

Is 35k to many miles for a 2007 Gixxer 750?

Not at all... As long as it has been well maintained, it's a great bike. If the rectifier hasn't been relocated, that's the very first thing I would get done.
