You have to master hitting skillshots first before playing her. If you want to play her, better play Ezreal first. Ezreal is a champ that can deal high damage even if you miss a lot of skillshots on him unlike Ahri so you have all the time you need to master hitting skillshots. Then after you master hitting skillshots, play Ahri.

So... The other thing is that those early scuttle crab fights just do not happen at low ELO. Most of Ahri's advantages are lost when the other team just lets you have those things. This is why champions with really simple advantages are better. Just better fighting capability is what matters most when you just get everything else for free.

If your low elo jungler can't clear fast enought for the 3:15 crab fight you still have a lot of options when you crash a wave. 1: harass under tower 2: go fight for the crab alone 3: recall with 700 or less gold, get a dark seal and shoes. Remember not to roam too far like mid or top early game, not having boots or ult makes you lose a shit ton of time. (as mage mid).

The only champ I see get away with early roams very successfully is Akshan, I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think of them rn. I’m barely plat so don’t go too hard on me 😂

The reality for low elo players is that ahri is not busted enough to carry 2 feeders which happens a lot in low elo even 3 feeders u can encounter frequently and ahri can not solocarry these games

Even if you have a "busted" champion who can 1v3, if you have horrible teammates you will not win because you cannot 1v5, it's just too rare to even happen once. Same thing for roamers, they can play as best as they can, sometimes they will carry games by roaming in the right times and sometimes their teammates will be just horrible and lose anyway just like strong fighters. Even a good support can carry a game by anticipating enemy moves with wards and not letting their damage dealers die in teamfights, but sometimes their teammates might be horrible as well and they won't.

Yeah as a guy from low Elo who plays mid and jungle thoose roams don’t work as well when your team doesn’t capitalize off it it’s a great idea for getting to thoose eaely scuttle 1v1s but usually 90% of the time top laners just end up going

Basically you have two options: ganking and having a 3v2 fight (win, basically); making enemy bot back under the tower (they lose minions and prio in bot). Meanwhile you can put pinks and remove/put wards, helping your team having vision :3 These are small advantages that help you in the long run, especially if your enemies don't do the same and don't manage to equally gain resources

@@kendivedmakarig215it's not, but most burst mages can and should have the potential to, otherwise they don't have much of any 1v1 potential and spend most of the game playing passively hoping their teammates do what they are supposed to. I like ahri, but her dmg is pretty low, and honestly her charm and the difficulty in killing her due to mobility are her only assets, making her a low ELO pick IMO. Plenty of mages have hard cc and can also delete multiple enemies with a combo, meanwhile Ahri mostly has to hide in bushes and jump over walls to charm and get kills IF her teammates did enough dmg first.

The thing about ahri is that she does not have the damage to compete with other midlaners at the moment and not having one BIG selling point, she is a jack of all trades, good wave management, decent damage, decent cc, good mobility, but isn't excellent in any of those areas, you want a roamer? Talon, Katarina etc, want damage? There are plenty of mages, assassins and even duelists with way more damage than her, want utility? Neeko, Ryze, Lissandra. As the saying goes, she is a master of none. Plus in lower elos it's always one or two player that decide the game, so playing a more selfish character will win you more games from iron until gold, when you get to plat, things get a little better.

@@walkelftexasrangerProbably you are still in low elo since Ahri is not that appreciated in Low elo. There is a reason why Pro Players such as Faker pick Ahri a lot of times. Ahri can easily look for Peel and has great roaming potential and is very mobile as a Mage. She can also secure kills thanks to her ult. Annie is great at bursting but she had low range and immobile.

I'm at 500 LP in EUW masters and haven't seen her since like 100 games, nobody bans her either, the most banned midlaner is obviously lb. Rest of midlane picks is whatever, cause midlaners are so irrelevant in this duskblade meta. Every game you see like 6-8 jg bans out of all 10.

what elo are you? It's kinda the meta since jungler fight in the river lvl3,since drake has been buffed,since season 3 or 4 i guess(but the roam was lvl 6),but yes you need to understand that there is a balance to have midlane between taking prio to roam,pressure enemy jungle and farming/scalling

Huh, been playing Ahri since her release and despite remaining low on elo with the exception of one season (mainly cause I play casually, with a few matches a month tops and sometimes I don't play for months and now haven't played for 2 years) I almost immediately used her to roam. With a good team a gank early was all I needed to snowball.

I do not play Ahri. I only play the Imperial Japanese Navy's Yamato-class Supercarrier, Shinano With the 400mm armor belt, and a fuck ton of Nakajima B7N2 Ryusei Dive-Torpedo Bombers, Mitsubishi A7M2 Reppu Fighters and a lot of multipurpose 127mm batteries, I don't clear the Waves. I split the waves, command the sea, and defy the wind.

well to be fair if u play mid aatrox like this he would also be op this meta since he can oneshot whole wave lvl4 with one q rotation and catch side laners with r movespeed and has decent amount of cc too only downside of him is him being melee and melee mids almost always have to trade health exchange of wave but it could be solverd with doran shield and fleet footwork i believe

Thats nice and all, but in my experience the ahris i fight just steal kills, resulting in them being fed. I doubt "roaming" is in their heads when they chase the easy ks. Works out tho i guess

I love Ahri, Ahris Q in all videos I have seen, (and by all I mean ALL) is so FAST. But when I play Ahri, her Q takes 10 years to travel.... :c

Most people dont know how to use her well enough she is super strong early mid game but she loses all that when its late game the key is to win ur lane snd help jung bully top or bottom lane quick enough so that way they cant have sny power over her

I don't even play roam champs in mid anymore. I just go Viktor or other late-game carry champs so even if I go 0/5 in mid game. I can just delete my enemies once I get my items. Or just play Poppy mid and preferably go Divine and win.

The meta is less about roaming and more about denying your lane opponent from roaming. Mid laners tend to be extremely paranoid about losing their turret first the higher elo you go.

Early scuttle fights that decide the game. What fun gameplay. Play for 5mins. Lose. Cant comeback because the game ia purely tailored around early game. Fun.
