I remember watching movies like iron man where Jarvis basically acted like a human. Its interesting to think how we might all have our own Jarvis in the future.

Did not think for a second that the script was written by chatGPT 😂. Actually some weeks ago I have said to my friends "Forget about Google, you just need ChatGPT". And if openAI really pushes forward to this search engine thing this will absolutely change the present world of the web and google era. And a video about an AI generating new knowledge would be super interesting - I wondered so often why we don't have such a thing, because in the end new knowledge sometimes is "just" a bunch of correlations in old knowledge.

Great video, Mr. Bosch! I knew it was chatGPT as soon as you mentioned "Social experiment". It's obvious that the tone of AI-written content may not be recognized by some machines, but humans can feel it from a mile away. While AI-generated content may be "human-like," it often lacks the interesting and unique qualities that make it truly engaging. I really respect your work and would love to see more content on Quantum AI. It's a niche that I'm really interested in and I'd love to learn more about it before starting my PhD. Seeing your research process and how you navigate through the PhD stages would be incredibly valuable to me. Keep up the great work! PS. this comment is written by chatGPT

Hi Sam. I’d like to thank you personally. I’m a college student in the Uk and from ur video recommending Anki, I went from BBC in bio Chem and maths to predicts A* A A. I’m on my way to med school at a good uni in the Uk (hopefully) 😅. Also started hitting the gym. Thank you so much for all your recommendations. You Changed my idea of education from something I force myself to do to something I’m passionate about ❤❤

Interesting video, I like your style and explanations. I'd love to hear more about the potential of ChatGPT to generate new knowledge. I feel like actually adding to the human body of knowledge would be more difficult in STEM fields where actual empirical research is required. The humanities seem like a field that could be more easily advanced by an AI; for example a new analysis/close reading of a book.

Great video as always. Thank you for your efforts. What I would still be interested in is how you think Chat GPT will/could affect teaching. I am studying at the moment and it is becoming more and more apparent that open book exams no longer make sense and that seminar papers are more likely to become a combination of various software aids. What is your opinion on this? Greetings from Germanytake

One notable artificial intelligence is Grammarly is one of those AI which can fix your grammar and it's not a bad thing. I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the advert, amazed even, but now, it's daily use. The prominent new information generator is AI art. Many artists on KZfaq panicked about this, however, some are yet to be educated (forgive me if I am wrong about some of them yet to be educated on how art AI work) on how AI art isn't "intelligent" - it's efficient alright for a non-living object to be an artist. However, it's down to a program that is a sort of a random generator with specified limiters on what water it can thread to generate (alas, the prompts), thus giving access to several pieces of information to be utilized and which it wasn't given access to. Many artists mentioned AI art and hate it. I love AI art. It's simply because of the accessibility, it gives out ideas on how I want to draw my art. I hardly use it tho for my art (now that I think about it) but it does impress me. It's an artificial intelligence thing - it shoots where it was asked to shoot and it shoots accurately. However, when not asked where to shoot, it just shoots where until it sticks (I loosely put the description about AI but that's how I see it). The thing love about it is the speed. It's like 5 seconds depending on your wifi and phone model or laptop. For ChatGPT, It is an impressive AI, as you give in feedback on each paragraph, and the way it was able to mimic your writing was amazing. I have seen this kind of effect before in the Sims game, where it uses your gameplay style if you leave the game alone for a moment for your Sims to suddenly move by itself. It is like Google's personalized advert, they use your information to tailor your needs to the adverts. Yes, ChatGPT is another level. That is why a Ph.D. candidate like you understand how robust this ChatGPT technological feat is. For AI art, it challenged me to become a better artist - which isn't a bad effect. I like the last question, for me, it's not impossible for ChatGPT or a new AI program to be able to create a new answer. They could generate a good answer even. However, we again have to check the answer ourselves. Usually, a new information generator is created every few decades, calculators, word processors, grammar checkers, Microsoft's Excel spreadsheet, and chess players and this puts you and all humanity to a challenge to question yourself and the rest of humanity if you and the rest of humanity are really that intelligent? I propose a new word to replace "intelligence" to describe computer capabilities with "potentiality" instead because it is much more fitting to describe the output given because it is nothing much but in its level of accuracy, alas, it cannot make its conclusions without being tested by humans. Humans are very complex creatures capable of sensing five senses and more which these ChatGPT (or most AI) did not have, to say it was intelligent just shows how we loosely and are still witnessing the understanding of true intelligence in its infancy. Also, computers always fail to "realize" context. That's why the trick question confuses it. It's choosing whether to literally or figuratively interpret a phrase like "threading on water" or "walking on eggshells". I am yet to be a computer scientist so I don't know how most of these things worked. However, I do understand that the program has to be written more specifically with more "gates" for it to choose from, which can be done by allowing it to choose the pathway with the higher percentage. Again, statistics. Humans can do this easily because they have more senses, they store information more and they have pain receptors (negative reinforcement). Hmm, looks like psychology isn't that "dreamy" after all 😳 I could be just overthinking but I do notice the difference between the script made by the AI, it was quite general in syntax and language, like a Wikipedia article with no particular style. Also, you gave feedback on each script, so it gained new information on how your writing style, like how many times you use "like" or whatever. The CEO of ChatGPT mentioned how it cannot cure cancer but it can, I think, should be able to provide information on how it can *possibly* be cured, with the right input (for instance, to put priority on cure with the most significant result or least marginal error) and compile the percentages of which cure is the least risky. It's not much but it's a start. Albeit it cannot carry out lab work but it can accept lab results, it can analyze these results faster, and even provide conclusions and everything (I assume, I haven't used ChatGPT). It would be scarier if someone could model Einstein's way of thinking and use it to conclude Physics hypotheses. That's when new information could be generated. But no, so far, it's all down to statistics. I think ChatGPT, could receive backlash from the education board tho. These are all just my opinions, I am sorry if I give misinformation, feel free to correct me. Lastly, I feel lucky that the algorithm sends your videos to me, like, really, really, really lucky. It's awesome.

My experience with ChatGPT is not so great. It invents things. Always go and check it, sometimes it sounds smooth but is actually fake. However, it is a great tool to make your writing sound better, as well as use it as a rubber duck. Since ChatGPT is more intelligent than a duck it could help to overcome blank list problem and helps to generate ideas.

I believe that ChatGPT might not add to the total sum of human knowledge directly but by providing very in-depth, tailored, and fast explanations to humans it (or its next few iterations) will definitely be of great assistance to humans who are actually expanding the total sum of knowledge.

@@SamuelBoschMIT I would believe that. It is definitely a more controlled/ easier to simulate area but remember AlphaGo and Stockfishes Advancements in Go /Chess. They were initially only trained on human games and were able to come up with novel moves (Game 2 AlphaGo against Lee Sedol move 37 for example), so we might consider that something similar will happen with ChatGPT and human knowledge? Maybe a little far fetched
