Roxanne make sure to keep the rose ball above the dirt! If you bury the ball Where the bush is grafted onto the bush it will not grow. You must keep it above the dirt! Google how to plant roses to be sure. First time I planted roses they would not grow 🤷🏻‍♀️. My grandpa came over and dug them up about four inches and they began to thrive. I had them to deep.

ROXANE YOU SHOULD BUY 2 CLIMBING PINKY ROSE BUSHES OR PEGGY MARTIN ROSE BUSH AND PUT THEM RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRELLISES AND THEY WILL CLIMB UP IT AS YOU TRAIN IT TO GO IN AND OUT THE TRELLIS. THAT WILL BE SO BEAUTIFUL

My dad always changed locations yearly. First in one location then another area. When he decided what was best, he rotated the crops each year. Like beans one year and tomatoes the next. He said cause different crops would keep soil from being depleted. My self I plant in big pots. Lol.

Suggestion get yourself a spade fork or broad fork to break the ground before you use the tiller. It will be so much easier prepping the soil.

Marigokds in your beds will attract pollinators, keep pests away. Chickens love the flower heads. The green part of the plants keeps fleas and ticks down. Let some go to seed and you never have to buy them again. ❤❤❤

Make sure you plant pickle cucumbers for making pickles for crispy one. Also, grow them up a fence, to keep them off the dirt. You can add a cattle panel in the garden to grow your peas on, they do better when they grow up. Now that you have a tiller, plow a batch for a corn field, but don't grow it in your fenced garden.

My Mother lived to be 95 & she passed away in 2010 so she was old school. Her thoughts were anytime she planted she gave her new plant a drink of miracle grow to keep them from culture shock she said. Well it seems to work because they had new growth almost immediately. She too loved her roses but couldn't afford very many. Mostly gifted roses but she enjoyed them all. Yours look great.

If you want a lot of green beans, plant pole beans up & over your trellis! You can plant beans on one side & peas on the other(or another vining plants). They’ll produce alot more then bush beans & you have the space. I give my chocolate labs green beans on their supper every night. I planted 30 bush bean plants last year. They ate them all by fall. We had a volunteer cherry tomato(we don’t eat them) & they ate all of them as snacks too. Helps keep their weight down.

Think about planting hollyhocks along the fence- inside or out. They self propogate, easy to grow, can be 5'-6' tall. Would be a beautiful perimeter- many colors and the bees love them. Bringing pollinators to your garden make a big difference on overall gardening success❤❤

Congratulations She’s a beauty❤Rox. A new lawn mower 🎊 🎉. Having new equipment sure makes the job so much easier.😊So happy just time for the up coming season. 😊😊😊😊 I love the plants. My Momma had a green thumb. She had every color of roses you could imagine. She would take cut roses from any bush, bouquet, or floral arrangement. She would trim it to were there was a knot or nub on the trim put in a glass of water until it rooted, then plant in ground with a mason jar on top. It was like giving the plant its own green house. Once the jar was filled with green leaves she removed the jar. Like magic she had another rose bush. 👍🏻 Love all the beautiful plants. Simply Gorgeous.❤❤❤❤❤Rox get the bunnies out in the garden they will help with all that clover clean up.😂😂🤣

I’m in PA, my onion slips came today & we’ve had so much rain our yard is a pond. The bed I want to use isn’t too bad, but has to be amended & prepped, so now I’m panicking a bit. We had such great luck with our 3 tier Greenstalk last year, I got a 5 tier last Fall. I love them bc it’s much easier on my back & is a whole other garden in much less space. I’m dying to get them out but we have awhile yet. I have my seeds started inside though. We’re planting more this year then ever bc of the price of food. Food we buy in the store has so much garbage in it too. When you grow it yourself, you know what’s in it. There’re a lot of things that can be planted in containers, like lettuces & herbs for ppl that don’t have a lot of space. Everyone should try growing what they can. Food is unaffordable & only getting worse
