I definitely think that everyone hating on her is weird... Sure her demeanor in the breakup video could come across as odd and a little rude, but taking her words into context, she's been done for a bit now and is finally able to express that. They both seem like great people and great parents, they just didn't work out and sometimes that happens.

@@KourttneyL yes it’s sudden but they put out what they want their viewers to see, that’s not going to be their struggles with their relationship. What don’t their fans get people just fall out of love or don’t work out as a couple anymore. Let them live and grow apart from each other. They came to that agreement together as they know what’s best for them and their kids, no one should care about her attitude with it all they should be caring about how the kids are because it’s going to be hard on them even if they are okay with them being separated, that doesn’t mean they don’t feel upset their parents are no longer going to be together and get to see them both everyday in the house. It’s unfair on the kids yes but they have to do what’s best and that’s not a toxic relationship around kids that would hurt them more.

I think it's the "well you have four kids so you should stay together anyway" comments that get me. Like they think them staying together when Kyra clearly doesnt want to be with him anymore is a good idea for those kids. As someone with personal experience with a mom who stayed with my dad for the kids it was the worst thing my mom ever did and I was actually relieved when she finally left.They fought non stop everyday cause she didn't want to be there and he knew it and that caused a lot of trauma for me later in life. Kyra admitted she was already getting angry and resenting him to a point, all of that wouldve just gotten worse if she stayed. Plus how is that fair to Oscar. Now he can do things that make him happy and find someone who actually wants to spend her life with him.

I think people are upset at the way Kyra came about the break up. How she was smiling and laughing and acting like she didn't care. I don't think people understand that it's likely she is over the relationship and has been for a while which is why she was able to act that way. It doesn't give people the right to hate on her though.

She was also talking so badly about him and making fun of him on the beneath the sheets podcast like hardcore. People aren’t even upset she broke up with him, it was the way she approached it and was acting SUPER sus in the breakup video and in the podcast. Honestly if you really watched them you’ve seen that Oscar wasn’t always an amazinggggg partner at times. She’s even admitted that his anger does result in some punches being thrown to the wall or doors. Or throwing things. Now Kyra also isn’t perfect but they were total opposites. Oscar likes to be adventurous and Kyra actually isn’t and has shown that fear many times due to her Anxiety and OCD. Also when Kyra was going through her depression and struggling with her mental health. Oscar was not there for her the way she needed him to be. And he’s admitted that. And when you go through mental issues and your partner isn’t there it does stick to you. You don’t forget the way that felt to feel so alone.

One of the many issues with social media is the parasocial relationships viewers have with the people the watch on YT. It’s not healthy on so many different levels and it’s insanely creepy how upset they get over something like this. With that said - if he was a man, he would put his ego aside and stand up for her. It’s just comes off tacky and petty. Dude, if it was meant to be - they wouldn’t have done what they did and it’s far better/healthy for them and the kids to separate. Would the fan base rather them raise children in a toxic environment? Plus They’re babies. 25 is so young - they have their whole lives ahead of them. I mean, not to sound cruel, but she missed out on so many experiences because she got married and started a family so young.

I’m living in that toxic investment with my parents it’s horrible they stay and get alone for me and my siblings but it’s not the best thing to live with. I’m glad that they are doing the healthy breakup they need for them and their kids as it’s will work out better for them instead of being together just for the kids with a tiny amount of love they have for each other.

Fully agree. Family channels using their kids for views ought to be cancelled by You Tube. In this case I feel the poor kids are the ones most affected. What a life, to be ferried between their parents' homes according to a schedule, just because the Mom wants to find herself. Most unsettling.

I started watching them when I was like 15, and remember when there was an accidental instagram live of them screaming and swearing at each other in a target car park and them dismissing it as a regular fight even though they said that their own families called them bc they were concerned about how they were speaking to each other; tbh they should've broken up then, the way they fought with each other was just nasty and we have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.

Their break-up seemed healthy. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's still good to see that a break-up doesn't have to be toxic, especially with kids.

With his video of her moving out, he shouldn't have shown what the room/house looks like. It's none of anyone else's business to know what was kept and what was left. That should have never been uploaded or filmed during this process. I wish the best of luck to the two of them and hope they are able to move forward in a positive way. The women commenting negatively on Kyra's channel are likely insecure young women acting as the current girlfriend and treating her like the ex-girlfriend. I mean that is the vibe I am getting and they wouldn't be doing it if this guy wasn't really attractive. They want a chance to be his girlfriend, so they try to stand out by tearing Kyra down. It's stupid games that some / a lot of young girls play. I would challenge anyone to find me at least one man that is commenting on Kyra's YT channel with such venom. Just women tearing down women. Something about their breakup video really stood out to me. Right after she asks him If It makes him feel better to say that she was the one to break things, he Said "Yeah, cause in the end i really tried to make things work" to which she responded something like "ThaT's the thing if you're listening, IN THE END DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK OUT". IDK, It Just made me feel like things between them have been rough for a while and maybe he didnt put effort into trying to fix things until It was too late. But who knows 🤷🏽♀️

if the kids are better off this way then idk why ppl are so upset lmao- they don’t seem to be hostile towards each other, and if both of them are equally involved in their kid’s lives then it’s not really a big deal. the other side of the argument is that the kids will suffer bc of this decision, which is the responsibility of the parents to deal with. if they put their own feelings before their children, then they shouldn’t have had kids. it’s really rare that separated parents get along, so let’s hope and pray they stay that way. when i was a kid my mom had to skip meals to buy food for me, and i never caught on to it. the important thing is that they don’t show their kids the bad side of the situation, so they can grow without having that weight on their shoulders.

No one knows what truly goes on, but from what has been publicized it seems like kyra wants to date other people and Oscar didn't agree. Which is probably only 10% of the reason that they actually broke up. I just think kyra is being open about wanting to move on and Oscar being hurt is definitely helping him gain favor. Kyra made the move to get her own place so she looks like the bad guy. I don't know them well but it seems like they just took on too much at a young age. It happens, and I just wish them the best on their future co parenting!

People are so quick to judge someone else's divorce and how they handle things. They seem to be handling things reasonably and treating each other with respect to the camera. We as the audience don't know what happened behind closed doors and why they weren't right for each other; people's opinions and comments on their situation being hateful only complicated the situation and, if anything, made it more difficult for the kids to understand and get through that much more difficult. Cause at the end of the day that the people getting the most affected by this situation are the children

I think people are so used to messy break ups that when they see a healthy one they’ll look for any little details to make it seem messy, when in reality it isn’t. I don’t think any of them are in the wrong, I think they’re taking it day by day and doing the best they can as they try to navigate their new lives in healthy ways.

Did the breakup video give off weird vibes? Definitely. Does that mean they're automatically not able to have a healthy separation? Absolutely not. I myself find it so interesting to watch them be individual people for the very first time in their lifes. Keira is my age and she just got her very first appartment like I did recently but she has 4 kids to handle, I am nothing but impressed by how they both handle the situation.

I use to watch them growing up, I never liked how he treated her. It made uncomfortable the way he would talk to her and treat her. I am so happy for her that she discovered her worth and left him. I had to stop watching them because of the way he would treat her.
