We're gonna send it way it back this time around …to one of the coolest jobs I've ever had: Making Money while Salmon Fishing (where I actually get to do the catching). For many seasons back in the mid 2000's, I got hired by various state agencies in California to hook and line catch fish for tagging studies.
In this grainy ol' gem from 2010, we were spring chinook salmon fishing for a tagging study on the Yuba River near Marysville, CA.
After being tagged, the fish were then tracked by biologists to see their migration patterns.
Those were the days!
