In this video, I try out a unique combination featuring Loaded Dice Hisuan Electrode and Choice Scarf Annihilape! Hisuan Electrode is one of the fastest Pokemon in the format - it's even faster than the Annihilape on this team! You use Bullet Seed to quickly stack up Rage First and pick up big knock-outs with Annihilape. The team also features a Trick Room core with Attack Booster Energy Iron Hands and Assault Vest Enamorus Therian!

@@hectorfley4371same. idk how some people are saying it's the same thing as reg C or it's worse than reg C. Of course they'll be common pokemon, it's called a meta. Happens in every videogame. But in the first week I've already seen more diversity than I saw week one of reg C

Game 2 was nuts. It’s a double edged sword, the DON hits like a truck and you’ve gotta dedicate a lot of resources to it but they also dedicate a lot of it (don + tatsu + Pelliper). That double trick room and ape aqua jet were huge game changers, but I think even if he took out Amarouge it was game over, since annihilape denies the tailwind then just finishes urshifu. Insane comeback.

ELECTRODE TIME! Aaron always releases videos at a perfect time for me to close out the day... but sometimes the sets are so fire that it makes me less tired! Bullet seed HElectrode to turn on Rage Fist is WILD. And that TR reversal in game 2 was genius!

I don’t know if you saw Foo’s video on H-Electrode + Rillaboom grass terrain/fake out. Chloroblast in grass terrain with Tera and choice specs can basically one shot anything and grass terrain means you can use the move three times. You could also pull off a similar strategy with a feint user to focus down whatever you want.

My favorite team of the format so far is Hisuian Goodra with Shell Armor, Screens support and Intimidate support, it's been really fun into Urshifu and Paonite teams

I was just about to go to bed, but I'll post a comment with a tally of the Top 6 'mons Aaron has encountered the most in Regulation D: 1. Flutter Mane (8 sightings), 1. Urshifu [all presumed Rapid Strike] (8 sightings), 1. Dragonite (8 sightings), 4. Chien Pao (6 sightings), 4. Tornadus (6 sightings), 6. Heatran (5 sightings), Out of the 51 unique pokémon you've come across so far this format, these are the most consistent. I'm hoping to start getting into VGC this season, so knowing what the most common pokémon I'll be going up against is useful for my team building.

It's interesting because those 6 together on a team actually make for a very strong strategy. Amoongus could replace Heatran but those 6 are an excellent starting point!

Holy shit that second game was amazing! The 1-turn reversal of your own Trick Room reading into Protect was SUCH a smart play, then coming back and winning it outright after they got that first turn Tailwind. I feel like something you can also maybe do for fun is use water Tera on armarouge and give it weakness policy so you can use electrode to activate weakness policy with bullet seed
