Today I am showing you guys a little bit of how making money on KZfaq works. If you're a KZfaqr yourself these things are really important to know to maximize the amount you are earning for your effort. I wanted to make this video because I really think today is the BEST and easiest time to make a KZfaq channel a sort of side hustle by sharing your valuable information and passions about whatever you happen to be interested in- IF you monetize it correctly. You really don't have to be getting quite as many views as you used to a few years ago to make a significant amount. This is great news for anyone that is interested in creating content, because they don't have to chase the clickbait-y titles or brand deals as much, they can make more videos of things they are interested in and have the means to hire people, upgrade their camera equipment, etc. to produce better free videos for everyone enjoy.
Also keep in mind, this is just a portion of the earnings KZfaqrs make. Most people also monetize through affiliate links, brand deals, merch, etc. Just had to add that in there because I know someone was gonna be like "wtf, how did you just buy a tesla then" since these earnings don't really add up to that haha. I guess I lucked out, my one and only 1 million view video made $20K at the 1 million mark, its' $45K at the 2.1 million mark...and for beauty! Which typically isn't a high CPM (mine was exceptionally high for some reason)

summer C David’s videos get tons of views but they normally get demonetized bc they aren’t “family friendly “ and his age range ranges from 8-24 (I’m guessing but especially teens ) but he does have his second channel and he does get seat geek sponsors.He says he gets most of his money from his merch and things like that.

No but David is also really smart with his content bc he maintains a strong fanbase by having short videos you can binge easily and continue on with and by growing his name, bigger and more lucrative sponsors reach out to him (like seat geek) so while his adsense won't be comparable, he's still making out with a decent amount of money while not having to compromise his content

Brand deals vary pretty drastically tbh... some just give merch to review, some offer credits for their monthly subscriptions if subs use the link, some give like 1-10% of sales, and some have a dollar amount based on views within whatever time they think matters...

@@habakuc yeah but she also said it depends on some factors like viewer's location, watch time, video length, and although I don't think she mentioned it, ad content value based on relevancy to video content, etc. So this video could make as low as $1500 ($1 CPM) to as high as $27,000 based on that insanely high CPM of $18 of one of her videos.

Thank you, Shelby! You have given me such useful info, as I am just starting out doing this as a side gig. I've been making my subliminal videos at 10 minutes because I've noticed I'll sometimes pass on videos longer than that. But with mine, I CAN add another minute or so of white noise, to 11 -12 minutes and double the ad potential. Your veteran experience is most appreciated. You even gave me an ideas for another area of videos to make.

Bryan Peden If you watch at least 15 seconds of the ad, they get paid. You don’t have to stick around and watch whole video. If you have KZfaq red, the longer you watch the more they make.

another reason the scentbird video did very well in revenue is because it had a “business/financial” related niche which always gets a higher cpm than almost any other niche on youtube since those viewers are more likely to click the business related ad or purchase a certain product that interest them.
