In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Watcher. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

9:52 Don't lie to yourself, your favorite card is definitely Dark Embrace. I've seen you pick that card on like floor 3 with no exhaust cards besides Ascender's Bane. You once took _four copies_ of Dark Embrace and your character spent the rest of the run saying "my hand is full!" and not once did you consider maybe you had too many Dark Embrace.

So at 18:40 instead of fully refreshing the stream, as some people prefer to keep chat history. You can simply change the stream quality, then change it back, achieves the same result. This audio issue usually happens after twitch ads or if the stream has been in another tab for too long.

Right after he entered act 4 I realized that in act 1 Baalor skipped regal pillow cause who needs to rest as watcher, and then he proceeded to rest many a time throughout the run

If I had to pick one card to be my absolute favorite, I'd have to go with Electrodynamics. It's fun to play it when you already have orbs out to evoke a bunch, and the aoe on lightning orbs is so satisfying. If I'm doing anything with orbs, I'm always happy to get one (Also as a bonus: getting the card on another class with prismatic shard is fun to evoke the first couple lightning orbs instantly)

Man, I would have borked this run at so many points if this this seed had happened to me. If nothing else, my concentration would have given out, and I would have slipped at one of several bottleneck fights you managed to squeak through. Well played, for sure. Proving once again that you are one of the supreme masters of this game.

I've only just loaded the video but when I see a 2 hour long run and I immediately wonder whether there's a frozen eye involved. That one relic tends to double the length of his videos.

I think this is the first time I've seen you be forced to drink potions not called "block potion" in order to block lol. Normally you hang onto them for 5 fights and then discard it for something else. I thought for sure you were dead to the triple stronk slavers. Crazy run.

It was an Ironclad run, IIRC. Couple months ago. The thumbnail has Alpha in it. Edit: Video is called "It's too easy," and the thumbnail shows two alphas, prismatic shard, and the comment at the top says "this is nuts". Uploaded to YT about a month or two ago.

My takeaway from this run was that with 2x Panache down, playing 10 cards in one turn is a lot like landing a Grand Finale.

I've stopped being scared of philo stone. The benefit of one extra energy every turn to me outweighs the one strength. If you built correctly you shouldn't have any problems with block with one extra energy

I feel like that its just hard to pinpoint a death to Philo in a lost run. That is why many people think philo is so free. not as harsh of a penalty like ectoplasm, but also not as visible, as it slowly kills you bit by bit
