I'm guessing the reason he did not want to pay the 7 dollars, was that she had made it clear she would not sleep with him, and was going home alone. He had probably paid for an expensive dinner already, and was annoyed he had wasted money.

To the girls spending $1000 for hair cuts etc... you want to look good for you, not him. He probably doesn't care about it, he would rather either save the money or use it differently. "Honey, do you want me to spend $1000 for my hair, or $1000 for a vacation/care payments/rent/ etc?"

The confidence of these "3's" acting like they're "10's" is truly astounding. These "women" don't want a man, they want another father.

I’ve learned that when a woman says that “she’s broke,” it means that she’s tired of spending her own money.

I had a similar situation. I went out with this girl for 5 dates. I paid for everything up to that point and although we didn't do anything extravagant, it made me feel a bit bitter that she never offered to pay once. During the planning of our next date, there was an extra place she wanted to go to after the main place. But going to that extra place meant I have to pay for parking again. I told her I didn't want to go because I didn't want to pay for parking again. She flipped out, called me cheap, and said I'm fussing over a few dollars. The thing is, I didn't mind paying for parking but I was holding onto resentment that she never offered. I was hoping that she would at least step in and say 'Don't worry, I'll cover the parking'. It was a little test to see how she would react and I was hoping she would act appropriately so that I could feel better about her. She decided to call it off with me and it made me sad that to her, I was nothing but a wallet. I will admit that maybe my methods for testing her might've not been the best but it's just so disappointing that an adult can react the way she did and not even try to understand the other person's POV.

The same women who feel men use them as objects want to be paid because they are pretty. Help me out here. I clearly do not understand.

When I was not finished with my education, my girlfriend took over most of the bills, as she made more money than I did. Now that I am earning more than her this has changed, and I am totally fine with this. We married some time ago and have beautiful children. We went through thick and thin, and shared the burdens along the way to the extend we both were and are now able to.

$1000 dollars for hair treatments is wild. That extra income would get divided so quickly among saving, bills, groceries, etc. I cant imagine forking over that much for vanity.

The hedge fund guy who didn’t pay her 7 $ drive was probably a test to see how cheap she was and if she would pay it herself. I’m sure to get to a point where he wouldn’t pay 7 dollars means he went through lots of cheap girls expecting the guy to pay everything even though they are not officially together or engaged. He was probably fed up.

I've made an oath to myself to never spend a dime on a woman for the rest of my life. We go 50/50, just like with my male friends. Sometimes I'll help you out, but I expect reciprocity. You must help me out in the future. If this means never getting laid for the rest of my life, so be it, I don't even care anymore. Why would you even want to commit yourself emotionally/ sexually to someone who needs a financial incentive to be with you. I would just resent that person the whole time. More than that I would have utter contempt for them.

I had a good marriage, as these things go. She brought peace, and almost no drama to speak of, and she was very supportive of what I wanted to do. I wanted to finish my college degree, she supported both of us while I did that. In return, I did all the cleaning, laundry, and most of the cooking. That was the last time any place we lived was that clean, or we at home cooking consistently, or had laundry, come to think of it. When she died, she also left me with $11,000 in credit card debt, almost no savings, and stuff that she'd bought that she'd paid hundreds for, and didn't even remember buying that stuff.

The first girl let it slip that the Uber guy "keeps asking her out" in other words she's keeping him in the friend zone at arms length from his goal & he decided that it wasn't worth the trouble & let her know by refusing to pay to take her home. It's a thing over here also, girls go out for the evening with no money. And I mean, Nada. They work on the premise they will get into the clubs for nothing, and once inside they will ask guys to buy them drinks. Towards the end of the night they latch onto some sucker who will give them a ride home, if that doesn't work it's crying and teary phone calls to any contact they have who they think might "rescue a damsel in distress".
