Even in the Jim Crow era, bands were more racially integrated than the rest of the country. Music is music. We don’t care who sings it or what they look like. The only thing that matters is: does it sound good?

She's been a famous singer for years I'm 61 and she was famous when I was a child. She was the chief singer for one of Americas biggest and best song writer/producer/composer Mr Burt Bacharach(pronounced back a rack) in the 1950s-1990s and beyond. He's a Grammy and Oscar winning song writer My mother told me it was believed that he and Ms Warwick were believed to be secretly lovers and that's why she was given his songs to sing. Its also believed that This House Is Not A Home(which he wrote) is his song about her not the the woman he was publicly dating at the time. All of that comes from 80 to 90 year old woman who were mothers during my childhood years who questioned Ms Warwick being his singer of his music back in those days. I don't know if that is true but it is very possible it could be given the fact that in the 60s it was still an issue to Inter racially date. He wrote this song and Ms. Warwick recorded this with Elton, Gladys and Stevie for charity to benefit the HIV/AIDS crisis
