Elvis was executive producer of all his music, if you saw the "Elvis" movie, he put his band together and the singers hand picked by him. Whitney Houston's mother was part of the black girl group called the "Sweet Inspirations", he picked them after seeing them work with Aretha Franklin, and others. He had a gospel men's group called the Stamps led by the greatest bass singer in the world, JD Sumner. If you heard "Why Me Lord" he solo's that song. Elvis knew him since he was 15 years old. They loved him and he loved them. He loved his fans more than any celebrity I have ever seen. He gave away cars, houses, jewelry, trips, everything. See "Elvis Presley King of Kindness", also if you don't know how Elvis began in the racist 50's, when I was 12 in 1956, white stations would not play black artist till Elvis changed that, he grew up in a black part of Mississippi. React to "Elvis Presley and the Black Community" thanks for reacting, Elvis did over 700 songs, and sang everything from gospel to opera. Great reaction Be Blessed

He was and is the King! Anyone who watches his videos and understands where this man came from will see why. There will never be another with the ability to sing from the bottom of their soul like Elvis. He physically shook when he sang. Thats how deep his music was when he released it out of him. Thank you, Elvis. The power in his voice is unmatched.

Elvis loved a big sound so he put the band together himself. With the singers, orchestra and main rhythm section, there could be up to about 45 people on stage. At certain times it would sound like just a few people, that's how good they were. They were always in sync and Elvis used hand and arm movements to help dictate the pace and changes in the songs.

No auto tune what you hear is the same in the studio. You need to see the 68 special songs, "Trying to get to you" and "If I Can Dream". You know he made 31 movies? " Jailhouse Rock" he sang everything from gospel to opera. You did a great reaction. Thanks Be Blessed

This concert was a benefit for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund. It raised $75,000. Elvis purchased his own ticket for $1,000 & did not make any money from the concert. There were approximately 8,800 people in the audience THAT RAMP from the STAGE: Producer/director Marty Pasetta told Parker (Elvis' manager) he wanted to build a ramp for Elvis to walk out onto & Parker said no. Pasetta explained that it would be 8 ft. wide & Elvis could stay in the middle or go to the left or to the right if he wanted to because Pasetta knew how important the audience was to Elvis, but Parker still said no. Fortunately, Pasetta was able to meet w-Elvis & he explained exactly what he told Parker. Fortunately again, Elvis overrode Parker & told Pasetta to build the ramp. Paseta told Elvis he wanted him to lose 25 lbs., which Elvis did. Elvis then hugged Pasetta & said you are one of the few people who has been totally honest w-me. Without that ramp the concert would have been very different if Elvis did not have the option to get in close touch w-the audience.

Elvis started his career in 1954 with only a guitar player and a stand-up bass player. A drummer was added in 1955. A male quartet joined him in 1956. He didn't perform with a full orchestra and more back-up singers until many years later. Could you react to his very first #1 hit? This is the song that made him a millionaire: Elvis Presley performing "HEARTBREAK HOTEL" on Stage Show - March 17, 1956 (1:56)
