Hi Chase and Shelbs. There's some misunderstanding at the night market when you ordered the sticky rice. The other couple bought the small box, which cost 20k, and you guys got a big one. So, the lady wasn't trying to rip you off. The customer should have explained that to you, but her English was probably not very good. Anyway, thank you for the lovely videos. You are an awesome couple.

We didn’t buy the small box. We asked for the same that the other lady had. There was some confusion and a lot of stuff was cut out. The seller wasn’t being all that friendly and got upset with the other lady, so we kept the scene short. ☺️ Thank you so much we really appreciate it 🫶🏼❤️ cheers xx

All the strawberries are from Dalat . They were introduced in Vietnam by the French 100 years ago . Actually there are four varieties of strawberry growing in Dalat : the French , the North American , the Japanese and the Korean . The most expensive is the Japanese one and the cheapest is the North American . You can visit strawberry farms here and pick-up the fruits yourselves then pay later like in Canada . The sticky rice vendor had put all kinds of toppings ( all dressed = thâp câm ) in your sticky rice so why it was more expensive . You should insist to have the regular portion ( binh thuong ) for only 20 K

Those Jello cakes are called Suong Sa in Vietnamese . I love them too . 60k VND for all those goodies is actually a fair price . Don't eat those pastries alone because they are too dry . You should eat them with soymilk / mung bean milk or a soup like Pho or Hu Tiu .

Not very often no, but if we had to say one thing to be more careful of is chicken rice! That’s what we’ve been sick off of before in Vietnam. If you do try it, go to a highly rated place! 😊 and don’t be worried, the food is generally very safe! If you did however get sick.. don’t waste any time.. Grab some antibiotics from a pharmacy. We’ve tried to wait it out before and wasted days feeling awful. We don’t mess around now 😂

Unfortunately, that guy who sale you the "Rau Cau" is ripping you you off. Next time just refuse to buy they will automatically drop their prices. You can also show the bill that you are willing to pay. You guys are fun to watch. Thank you.

60 k dong for all those Jello cakes was a good price for Dalat . Many times I also paid that amount in Saigon and at many other places in Vietnam . Don't forget Dalat is a touristy city ( especially around the lake ) so prices are sometimes a bit higher than at the local markets . Please think 3-4 times before making a comment dude .

The sticky rice vendor said your was bigger size than the other woman, the other lady had the square container, yours is rectangular container, probably she watched your videos on "thêm, thêm" she knows you're the thêm girl, so she gave you more before you asked.

I am from Vietnam. After watching your video, I realized that not many street vendors can speak English well. This leads to a poor experience for those wanting to enjoy Vietnamese street food. Currently, English is being taught in all schools, and hopefully, the next generation will be able to speak English well and help tourists have a good trip in Vietnam. I really feel embarrassed when they can't speak English and it causes confusion for you.
