I really love everything you said in the beginning and love this vid. It's so discouraging seeing other vids when they promote their "health" journey but can be so unrealistic especially for people who are constantly busy or work two jobs. The others seem to focus on the "glam" aspect of it instead of the realistic aspect of it. boiled egg tips!! so personally i like more soft boiled eggs (not too chalky in the middle still just slightly gooey) but the same method applies to all boiled eggs. put eggs in pot, fill until just covered with water, bring to a boil. RIGHT when the water starts to rapidly boil, cover and remove from the heat. depending on how well done you like your yolk - let sit for a minimum of 6 minutes for soft soft boiled, up to 12 minutes for more well done. works every time and it’s so much easier than watching it boil and wondering how long you should wait.

Boiled egg tip: Add a sprinkle of baking soda (for easy peeling), fill pot with water, add eggs, bring to boil on high heat, cover and remove from heat once they start boiling, let stand covered for 12 mins, run cold water over the eggs, turn off water and add ice to the pot, leave in ice bath for a bit and voila, perfect eggs! Hard boiled eggs are one of my favourite ways to get extra protein in. I love following along on your journey, you look amazing. You always inspire me to get creative in the kitchen with simple ingredients!

Fell off a bit the last week bc of my birthday but I'm back on track. Starting off a what I eat to lose weight with a McDonald's breakfast sandwich in hand is my kind of real talk😅. Yes we can splurge as long as we factor in some healthier meals throughout the day. I cried when I saw that but yes honey, why not?!?! You look amazing Amy and what I love is that you add a little sweets to your meal plan. I'm a sweets girl too and there is room for sweets. Btw the chocolates are sold in the US during Easter only. One tip for perfect hardboiled eggs is to make sure the water covers your eggs, boil the water and once it boils remove it from the heat and let it cool for 15 mins in the sink. The hot water will continue to cook the eggs a bit but you will be able to peel the egg with perfectly cooked eggs. I run the eggs under cold water, shells come right off. Submerging it in iced water like you did is another option when I want my eggs just under cooked. Matcha is my appetite suppresant too 🤗👌🏽👍🏼💪🏽🥚

I started a cut and got a migraine on the second day, and by the end of that night, i had a cold coming on 💀 that was yesterday! I love how your opening message is "things are going to come up" because I'm sick and just needed an ice-cream to soothe my throat, plus I'm sucking lozenges 😂 but I'm still walkind, focusing on protein, nd a few other things that were part of my cut ✂️ and thats the best i can do for now.

Boiled eggs: put eggs in pot of water (leaving about an inch of water above eggs), boil while uncovered. Once boiled, turn off heat and take pot off heat, cover pot for about 10mins. After 10 mins, take eggs out of pot and place over ice cubes & let cool down...finito, enjoy! 😊

Yes this works for my boyfriend lol. When i do this i find the egg doesnt fully cook. Idk what im doing wrong. Also helps to run the eggs under water while u peel them bc the shell slides right off.

Boiled eggs in the insta pot! 5 mins, 1.5 cups of water. They turn out amazing. Soak in cold water before you peel and they peel so easily!

Hi beautiful!!! For the eggs, I boil them in the instant pot... add about 1 cup of watter to the bottom, put the eggs on a trivet. Hi pressure, 5 minutes. Natural release for 5 minutes. Then in the ice bath and they will be amazing!!! Peel and store in the fridge in a glass container with a paper towel on the bottom of the glass dish. (and it doesn't matter how many eggs you cook... it could be 5 or 25, amount of water remains the same)

Hello I am new to your channel. I was just scrolling through and seen that you had lost quite a bit of weight so I decided to subscribe. I am trying to start my weight loss journey and I need all the help I can get. Thank you so much for doing these type of helpful video's they are much appreciated. Btw I found that if you boil the water first, then add the eggs, set a timer for 12-13 mins on and then put them in really cold or ice water to let them sit. They usually turn out perfect and it's easier to peel them too.

Add baking soda to the water when boiling eggs and the shells will come off very easy! I just use a teaspoon.

Boiling eggs hack: place your eggs in the insta pot with alittle water, manual setting for 15 min and when the time is up you’ll put your eggs in ice water for 7 min and their done .

Just so you know once your boiled egg has a grey almost black yolk… you’ve overcooked your egg . So boil and egg from between 4-6 mins

Boiling Eggs: Wait until the water is boiling first, then put the eggs in the water for 7-10 mins depending on how hard you want them. Finally, put them in cold water or ice water for another 10 mins (this helps to remove the shell faster) .

Fun fact: I almost never drink coffee! I only first had it a few years ago. I occasionally have iced coffee because I do like the taste of iced coffee when it’s sweetened. But I much prefer the health benefits of Matcha and how it keeps me full or longer and doesn’t give the crash that coffee gives.

What benefits do you see drinking the matcha VS an energy drink? I feel the same with an energy drink in the sense that it helps subside my hunger. It keeps me full longer! I'm curious on the comparison of the two because the matcha drink is 200 calories VS the energy drinks I drink are only 10 calories.. helps allow me to put my calories else where but thinking of switching!!

I've never had an energy drink before in all honestly but I can compare it to coffee and I notice I don't get a crash after drinking matcha. Also the matcha doesn't get me that "crazy buzzed energy" feeling. It gives me a calm focused type of energy with no crash after. You could make your matcha way lower calorie than I do with less milk (or maybe 2% milk or a protein shake) and less honey but matcha is bitter so it needs some flavoring and sweetening personally unless you enjoy bitter flavors. Yes the energy drink is 10 calories but they're full of artificial sweeteners and flavors that are inflammatory. The Matcha has soooo many benefits.. even benefits for your skin because it's rich in antioxidants so it's legit amazing for you. Just gotta play around with it to find a recipe that suits you!

Definitely not! It has a subtle pineapple taste. I enjoy it. Don't expect it to taste like a juice or anything but it's definitely not hard to drink.
