I started with some diet changes too. Worked great and quite fast for me. Went from 160 to 131lbs in maybe 4 months. Im 5'4 ft tall. I was counting calories. Not restricting myself much or eating anything super different. But I've always been naturally skinny and only reason i had balooned to 160 were my 3 pregnancies and binge eating which had a lot to do with low self esteem and depression. But once i decided to get myself together and lose the weight i became serious about it. It's all in your mind and like you said it's also math. You shuft your focus from eating to other interests. Moderation is key in everything in life but especially in eating. But also genetic predisposition is a factor. And if the latter is true for you you may need to work harder sometimes . Now that im at my goal weight i can eat pretty much anything i want. But now i know moderation. Took me a while to get here but im glad i learned to control myself 😂

Girl, you're not alone. I am going thru a setback as well. I've been following your lead on setting smaller goals in my weight loss. The goals I set are definitely achievable but I literally hit a wall where I've plateaued within the last few wks. Y? I shouldn't be bc I did another jumpstart to my weight loss journey in mid-Dec and hit my Jan goal. Since then nada 😏 I feel like my body somehow is testing my plan but I just realized what changed. I've been putting in more time working and less time focusing on getting my steps in, my exercise routine, less time being active and not being as mindful of my daily meals. I thought I was on a good track bc I felt like I was always running and meal prepping but it was just life getting the best of me and not putting in what works for me. My setback is now my restart. Amy you got this and congrats on hitting that goal. P.S. I'm a sweets girl too and I leave room in my calorie deficit for 🎂 or something sweet 🤭💪🏃♀️

16:00 girl I feel you because I’m 4’10 and I’ve always had big arms. So I still have yet to take progress pics of my before and after with them. I always end up hiding them with my long hair or just positioning myself in pictures where they don’t look so huge 😂🫠 But so glad I’m not alone 😭

I just wanna say you have been always my inspiration when it comes to weight loss journey. I've always followed your easy way to go recipes also trying to love myself more regardless my insecurities. I’m 6 weeks pp and I am already starting to walk about a mile a day on my treadmill. Something about the cute workout outfit gets me motivated. My plan is to workout when I go back to work early morning (otherwise I won’t do it) and probs sleep in my workout outfit 😂

Hi! I just happened to watch a TikTok taking about routines and habits, and it showed an amazing tip. So, lets take for example your morning routine, and you do three different plans, one ideal, one realistic and one low-maintenance for does days when either you can’t or you don’t want bc whatever. So, the point im trying to make with this is for those weekly goal: -An ideal plan, every single day of the week was amazing i eat and exercise what i had in mind, my life is on track; -A realistic one would be, taking into account minor inconvenience that could potentially happen like for example, Kylo had a bad night-time or nap and therefore he was fussy and that made you to not were able to eat what you had in mind or exercise as much as you want; -And a low one, for those weeks that could one be defined as a wind whirl one, every single day was a last-minute-plan-change day. So, i hope this help! ❤

Hey new subbie here 🤗 I had KP on my arms and NOW they are so smooth. I started using Cerevé salicylic acid wash and I also use Eucerin Rough and Bumpy skin lotion. Don't let the word "acid" scare you. It's not harsh or anything. I use the Cerevé gel in the shower daily and use the lotion after. I saw smooth arms within the 1st 2 weeks. Use a loofah or African net to apply the shower gel and gently exfoliate your skin. Hope this helps. And great job on your weight loss journey!

Im 5 weeks in and I lost 8 pounds, maybe 2 pounds is water weight, but still 6 pounds. I do two meals a day. My second meal is low carb because it helps with controlling my cravings. I want to lose 16 pounds at least. But 20 pounds would be ideal. My weightloss might be fast but i was overweight because I was snacking a lot and gain weight fast, so by limiting my eating window I found a solution.

Not sure if you already do this, but I like Pilates workouts on KZfaq! They can be 10 min or 45 min and anywhere in between and I really noticed a difference in my arms from Pilates arm workouts using light weights!

My oldest son has KP too. Mostly on his arms and sometimes flares up on his face too. All of my kids have eczema, as they get older it's less intense. My oldest is the only one with KP.

3:00 so I have a note on my phone where I track my daily weight (I know you’re not supposed to weigh everyday but I’m fine lol). I take the daily weights and make a weekly average. And even if my weight fluctuates everyday, which it does, I do my averages and I’m still losing weight! Also, I’m delulu and when my day’s weight is higher than yesterday’s or even last week’s weight, I tell myself and everyone else that I’m still my lowest weight! It’s saved a lot of pressure on my mental health during this journey! Hope this helps anyone who can’t afford a scale that goes to your phone. I’m hoping I can upgrade mine eventually!

I honestly can't see your bigger arms, but I have the same problem myself. I think my arms are bigger than other parts of me, but, I had a doctor tell me something that's made me feel a bit better about it - it's a good place to hold fat. Fat around the main organs is more unhealthy, so having more fat on my arms is better than having it evenly distributed.

Hi Amy I hardly ever comment but today i had to do it because I felt you were talking to me. I get disappointed because I don’t see a progress I lose ounces but gain 1 or 2 pounds when I walk in the treadmill I do it in the early morning I wear my pj's don’t waste time changing.
