Hi Dan great video. fellow north easterner here. I've been to Porto 12 times i go twice a year. Will be back in June and September. I'm so pleased you liked it. I always have a wonderful time there and have made friends over the years.

@@DanUnplanned i stay up near igreja do Carmo in an apartment. Its a bit cheaper than near the river but i don't get the stunning view that you had.

@@garyrobinson8665 it was incredible! We were so lucky to get upgraded we booked the cheapest room but always like to have a little chat before check in just to see how there day has been! How far would that be from the river area? We went as far up as the food hall was all stunning tho

@@DanUnplanned its about a 20 to 30 minute walk to the river. Did you book it in advance or just turn up? I have to book where i stay well in advance normally.
