INGREDIENTS
1 can Pillsbury orange rolls
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
zest of a small orange
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of salt
8x12 inch baking dish
use icing from canned rolls
bake at 350 °F for 35 to 40 minutes

Wow, they really puffed up beautifully! I will be doing this as well. I do think the lower temp and being covered helps the leavening in the dough, too. Thanks for showing and sharing.

Hi A!!! I have never tried the orange rolls. When our children were little we had a big breakfast every Sunday. We had different things but we always had Cinnamon rolls. I will have to try these orange rolls. Nice video!!!...

I've been using heavy cream when making Cinnamon rolls for a few years now. It works beautifully. If you make homemade Cinnamon rolls the cream needs to be room temp.

If you pop them back into the oven for a few minutes after icing them, the icing will candy a little bit, it’s awesome, lol- accidental discovery while keeping them warm once 😉

Orange 🍊 Rolls are my favorite! Going to try this recipe. I love the orange 🍊 icing that comes with it but it’s never enough to cover all the rolls. My husband loves extra icing 🤷🏻‍♀️ Any suggestions on how to make simple orange 🍊 icing that is similar to the one that comes with rolls? Thank you 🙏

Try mixing cream cheese powder sugar and some orange juice (little bit) and some orange zest.

Add a couple of tablespoons of cream cheese at room temperature. That is what I have done. It will still have a orange flavor to them.

I think the key is using a real orange to make the icing taste more like the Pillsbury brand. I would be curious to mix orange (fake) extract and real juice from an orange.

I used too much cream and butter mixture (accidentally doubled my recipe) and i thought they were ruined... Nope... just needed a little extra time and remove from pan where they were FLOATING in the butter 🤣 I am sensitive to glutamates (even natural glutamates in butter), and this nearly put me in a coma but SO tasty!

why does everyone always open those the hard way peel the outer layer like normal wet your hands and rub them on the cardboard tube it will pop open. If it doesn't pop right away wet your hands more and rub it again.
