The Chair should be sacked! HER behavior is outrageous. It’s the job of the chair to ensure that questions (especially those asked with PLENTY OF NOTICE), should be ANSWERED IN FULL AS ASKED! And not the bureaucratic waffling and constantly interrupting and DISRESPECTFUL CHAIR WHO CANT EVEN DO HER JOB! Her job is to SHUT UP and let the questioner ask their questions and hold the government officials ACCOUNTABLE for their work (or lack thereof). The Chair does NOT get to interrupt or challenge the questioner (who asked all of his questions respectfully and patiently) just because the Chair doesn’t like the NATURE of the question and the potential of the answer to embarrass the government for covering up their ineptitude or corruption or inaction - THAT is the whole purpose of the bloody committee! To hold the government ACCOUNTABLE and question their actions/inactions and this Chair CLEARLY is biased, obfuscating and participating in any cover up if she does not insist and/or sanction those on the government’s side from answering the questions AS ASKED AND ONLY AS ASKED and IN FULL! I don't think the chair is incompetent. The chair knows exactly what she is doing; which is to obstruct senator Paterson whenever he gets close to exposing bureaucratic corruption. I think the chair did her job commendably well. She nearly singlehandedly stopped senator Paterson getting to the truth. The chair seems to be very competent at carrying out the task she has been assigned, which appears to be to cover up the truth no matter what, no matter how absurd her objections appear to be. For these obvious reasons I have to respectfully disagree that the chair is incompetent.

Some public servants it seems have forgotten that their job isn't to protect and further UN/WEF agendas, but to SERVE THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS AND THE TAXPAYER!!

Excellent work as usual Senator Paterson! As for the "served both sides of politics" comment, two wings of the same bird is what the Australian public is working out now.

The Chair is an absolute joke. Thank you Senator Paterson, keep up the good politics!

The chair is unaware of her role to ensure the meeting is run efficiently, she takes no charge of the responsibility of those who serve the public unwilling to answer questions that are to the point of national safety and community safety. She obviously is not up to the job of chair, her only reponse was ad hominen.

What a Disgrace the behaviour by the Chair and the ABF Chief, privacy is just BS these are criminals!
@jakebrown62913 ай бұрын
Good work Senator Paterson. FIRSTLY, these officials MUST answer the questions and second, why are they letting any criminals out at all. Send the criminals back to where they came from and do it quickly. @ 9:11 he said he was uncomfortable answering, The public (your bosses) are NOT interested in weather or not these questions make the Commissioner or any other official uncomfortable, do you jobs and answer the questions.

So well spoken Senator Patterson and all they did was waffle about with no answers. The chair woman was out of line continually trying to shut you down all the time too.
