Rip Chris! He was in several different Bands ( temple of the dog, Soundgarden, and audioslave)and also had a solo career. He did a cover of Prince's nothing compares to you which is amazing. You should also react to "Say hello to heaven" by his band temple of the dog to hear more of his amazing vocals.

Yes! You made my night!! Chris was one of the founders of grunge rock in Seattle in the late 80s/90s with his band Soundgarden. Check out Black Hole Sun, Spoonman, Fell on Black Days. Chris is always in the top lists of best rock vocalists ever! Yes he does great covers but had dozens of hits with Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog and solo stuff. His solo song When I’m Down live at the Troubadour is my all time fave!!! Really showcases his voice, even more so than Billie Jean😊

Yesss. “When I’m Down” is my absolute favourite song. Chris had an unparalleled ability to connect emotionally through music. He was such a unique artist especially because he wasn’t afraid to try different sounds or even different genres. He could do just about anything vocally.

He was Chesters best friend...he took his own life 4 years ago 2 months later on Chris's birthday chester took his life. Such a devastating loss of 2 phenomenal talents, Hope they are rocking out in heaven right now. RIP boys 🥺💔

There is enough spectacular Chris Cornell content for you to make a whole playlist, and never be disappointed, or ever repeat an emotion, a Feeling, or message. His range vocally as well as his range artistically is pretty untouchable. The best way to show you all sides of chris is Soundgarden - slaves and bulldozers Audioslave -I Am the Highway, and show me how to live Temple of the Dog - say hello to heaven Solo live at the troubadour- when I'm down The heavyweight champion of all covers and Chris Cornell songs, his version of nothing compares to you. I think there is a vid on youtube that is literally called Chris Cornell covers everything. He is one of those "can do no wrong" artists. He is an absolute beast at everything he touches. From original stuff with Temple of the Dog to Soundgarden to Audioslave, to covering everything to singing with Linkin Park live. In my humble opinion, he is a top 5 male vocalist with Freddy Mercury, Dio, Layne Staley, and so on and so forth. It's all subjective, of course, but he should at the very least be in the conversation.

Chris Cornell.... the greatest rock voice for the decades he was doing it. And a great songwriter too.... Soundgarden, Audioslave, his solo work.... even his James Bond theme song holds up well! :)

Chris was an Incredible singer, he was in A few bands "Audioslave" ( Awesome song Called like a stone) by them. Also, "Soundgarden" (Awesome song called Black Hole Sun) by them. And, Adogg, This is Really cool, He sang with Linkin Park (Chester) a song called Crawling. I know how you love Chester ( me as well 😁). Chris Cornell is an absolute genius and saint. Spent decades trying to help child victims of sex abuseandbtrafficking and was in the middle of making a movie with Chester Bennington (Lincoln park lead singer) before they both died of suicide and the project was dropped ….…….. He was more amazing than people actually even know

All from early 90s. Pearl jam, Alice in chains and Nirvana all did MTV unplugged check that out but first check out knocking on heavens door and paradise city by guns and roses live at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. Best live band ever
