In this video, I go over how the recent news for Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League is at an all time low. Which is very sad but I can for sure say that we all saw this coming a mile away. WB and at least Rocksteady should have listened to the fans when all we wanted was a Superman game or a full blown Justice League game. In this current point in time, I can definitely say that it's possible. People just have no imagination to do so.

I remember hearing that a Superman project was being worked on, but it was "put aside" to move on to a new one. This was a rumor from years ago in 2017. This is the result.

@@QuackOfWarAccording to audio files in the game *Spoilers btw* when Brainiac entered Metropolis, he reached out to the League to make negotiations aboard his ship. Batman, Wonder Woman and Flash figured it was a trap (which it was) but, Superman said that they "had to go in good faith" in order to "show the heart of the League instead of just their strength." G.L, Batman and Superman went aboard the ship and fell for Brainiac's trap (mind you, Batman explicitly stated it was a trap beforehand). The writers basically made Superman blindly optimistic and naive, which lead to his city being invaded. TL;DR: It's Superman's fault the J.L were captured.

That's not it. Those fokes like the original Arkham game just as much as you and talked about it and were excited to create SSKTJL. They however struggled with what they wanted to do with it. Holding themselves back. However I'm not gonna scapegoat a censorship company they hired to prevent social backlash if they did something that could be culturally inappropriate that works on plenty of other successful games for the entire company missing the vibe players were interested in. They don't create everything that's in a game. All they are is middle men. And I doubt how much they could have ever been really involved considering the game's mature nature. What makes a game work is gameplay x story x fun x stability x price x matching its own and given expectations.

You know the game is going to be dead when it does poorly at launch, biggest supporters of rocksteady starting to turn on them, dlc doing little to reignite sales, 2 founders of rocksteady leaving before the game releases, and disrespecting the entire arkham franchise that people who were not fans of batman started to adore him as much. Whats really baffling is how rocksteady thinks this game will be better than the arkham games. Just know that dc has been failing with animation, films, and gaming.

If they listened and made a Superman or Justice League game then maybe we would have been more happier. But this game should be a lesson to WB and Rocksteady that live service is no longer a need and that we want single player games again. If anything they should have kept the Assault On Arkhamverse continuity.

You’re wrong, with the vast majority of the original Rocksteady team have now followed the co-creators to their new company. This Rocksteady is now in serious trouble and the fanbase has lost all confidence

As I've said, I don't think that Rocksteady will sink because they still have the blueprints from the previous games for another Arkham game if they really wanted to do it (which i think that they will). Just because they made one bad game doesn't mean that the entire skill level of the team is horrible for eternity. For all we know and for what I do suspect is Wb's obsession with catching up with the times and wanting to make money as fast as possible. They most likely wanted a game like Fortnite and other successful Gaas titles at the time and wanted that check. Seeing at how this turned out, it backfired on them. Sefton if anything wanted something more akin to Arkham formula but different and WB probably told him to piss off. We'll never know for sure but WB is mostly to blame due to their easy trigger finger decisions. We've seen them do it time and time again.

I have to agree and disagree. I only defended this game when it came to people using Kevin Conroy's death as a means to dunk on the game which was horrible and not judging it fairly before release. I gave it a fair shot and ended up not liking. People know that this isn't the game I wanted and I always said in the past that the chances of this game failing was very high. I gave this game a lot of criticisms that people tried to shit on me for in the past too. I wanted to like this game not because of it being Batman related as I hate the character, but I thought and hoped it would be a good game. Cool premise but horrible execution. I do agree when you gun for something and it ends up failing, sure I'm gonna be pretty upset due to me being fair with it.

What did you expect? The game ruined it's own potential from the moment it released. There are LOTS of other ways they could have done the story/plot giving each Justice League character more logical deaths instead of just shooting damn bullets. Not to mention we'd see how dangerous the each of them were and then all of a sudden they are just bullet sponges doing the same shit movements over and over. They have nobody to blame but themselves.

The game play loop is the reason why I never picked it up. Looked boring to me. Then character stuff came out (cut scenes and such) and I was like "OH, I don't like any of these characters." Then story leaks and I thought "It's dead to me."

Saw this coming from a mile away especially after the battlepass leak everything else was just icing in the cake. The studio that turned gaming into a passion for me also became the very same studio that became the last straw as my patience has run *VERY* thin with stupid medium. WB with its back to back failures starting with Gotham knights, suicide squad and now Arkham shadow being gimmicky VR garbage. But the constant failures have been fun to watch.

The game was doomed from the start when we 1. We Had to kill the justice league without putting in the effort to save them from mind control 2. The ridiculously amount of plot armor the suicide squad should be dead in a heartbeat 3. When half of Rocksteady left 4. Without knowing each character we literally know nothing about them we just know that they teamed together 5 years after Arkham Knight

Yeah, I was hype too, and even after the game came out, I still tried to defend it. When season 1 came out however, I just couldn’t defend it anymore, it’s kind of sad how bad this game was when there was so much potential, I have faith in Rocksteady still, if they can make another good single player game then good, but if not, then I don’t know if we should let them cook no more.

It feels like Gotham Knights was a live service as well because of the repetitive nature of the missions and the multiple currencies and then something (possibly the reception to Avengers) made them change their mind so they tried to remove as much as possible before release.

I am worried about how the game is going to eventually stop being supported. People are just joining in on the game even if they haven't played it

I think the best thing they can do now, is release an offline patch so the game can't be outright killed, tweak everything to minimize the grind, and release all the DLC they have planned that hopefully concludes the Brainiac arc, and revives the Justice League. Shut off the game servers in a year. And work on a new game that is not live service.

They turned down an animated Batman beyond like movie like they’ve done for miles morales,released a buggy a buggy and not as strong Gotham knights despite me enjoying some aspects, released squad and charged full price, announched a vr game even though that install base is incredibly low compared to console. Like this company sees two paths and always says let’s take the harder route and get cooked 😂

There line up was always weak. They should have send the game out with 8 characters not 4. They should have made character trates more important than guns and weaponry stats. I do like this game but it's far from good.

There should have been actual cool characters that have a legitimate chance against the league like Cheetah, Metallo, Bizzaro, Black Manta, Bane, Reverse Flash, Sinestro and etc. Ntm, instead of guns, have the villians use their actual abilities to the max. Adding with the fact that we are villians with destructible environments. Its all there to make a fun villian game but idk what they were thinking🤷🏾‍♂️

I meant you don't have to buy things in the game with your own money once you buy the base game that is $40. And last time I remember, my friends bought the super citizen pack which gave them skins as well as different types of guns that regulars wouldn't have at that time. I haven't played in a while so its vague. When I meant "skip the pass" I meant that you're not forced to pay anything else with real money unless you want to.

You're okay. Besides steam numbers are always wrong for indicating anything useful about the lifespan of a game. The game is owned by 9300 publicly on PS trophies, claiming to be played by 300 at a time and that too is nowhere near the amount that are actually playing it. A similar situation occurs with say Naruto Shinobi Strikers and that game has been running for years. And dips as low as 400. SSKTJ is likely contract bound to continue so I anyhow so you can bet they are gonna have to continue despite what others might gun for, for it. You just enjoy the game as is.
