@@KevinVang1000 Chinese/Vietnamese minority group called the Dai peoples. That's from my maternal side. No idea if Hmong fits into that group or not.

Both Sides of my family are from KunMing so I'm very happy that the fung bros are giving recogntion and shout out to my ancestral region of China 😊😊

Yunan /Guizhou food is so underrated! I was lucky to visit the region and instantly I was in love with the flavors! It’s different from Sichuan and Hunan. Good job you guys!

thank you for showing the Yunan and Guizhou food. Hmong/Miao food are similar if not the same. the lovely lady in the outfit is Hmong/Miao. all 56 ethnics make today now China or Zhongguo.

I just looked up to see if there were any Yunnan rice noodle places near me and was looking at the menu to a local Shimiaodao when it came up in the video, I guess I have to go there now

My Cambodian grandmas pigment is lighter so my descendants might be Chinese my grandpa is dark and My grandparents on my moms side are Thai and Laos

Both regions have been intermixing for thousands of years, so I wouldn't surprised if there is some shared ancestry :)

No. It's hard watching you guys eating all that good food. Wish there were regional Chinese spots here in Winston-Salem, NC. All we have is a Sichuan spot. Shouting out! Peace!

Aw man, you should’ve tried the Little Pot rice noodles at south of the clouds. Guoqiao rice noodles while great is very much a tourist dish these days. Little pot is pure authentic local goodness.

I know your enamored with the food in New York, but some of the best Chinese food I've ever had was in Clevelands China town. If you ever get the chance check it out, it kept me going all through med school.

No i thought the Guo Qiao Mixian origin is that the person sending the food purposely put a thin layer of oil onto the top to hold in the heat - who wants to eat cold noodles Truth be told I married a Yunnan girl in 1996 She is a Dai (Tai Lue) minority and fermented meats and vegetables are so common and so good (it's the umami)
