You say that, but there's a small but sizeable amount of women who do actually date effeminate men, even crossdressing men or genderfluid men. The problem is, women are almost all using birth control which interferes with their menstrual cycle and influences mating preferences towards feminine men.

As for normalizing men to wear nail polish, I chatted with a grandpa in the grocery store who let his granddaughter paint his nails. Dude was completely chill and praised his granddaughter a lot on her painting skills. The granddaughter was the happiest kid in the block. The grandpa is her favorite participant in her tea party, grandpa is her audience whenever she wants to put up her performance. Anything crazy granddaughter wants to do grandpa is up for it. Now she loves baking and grandpa wants to teach her how to bake that’s why he was in the grocery store. Masculinity is not about having to normalize men to wear nailpolish or having them wear a skirt. It’s about showing love to your loved ones, and if you’re a girl dad it’s about dealing with your kids crazy experiments with love and care. You’re not afraid to show love to your children as a father, that’s masculinity. Masculinity means that you want to be the best version of yourself, you’re comfortable with your emotions and you’re not afraid to stand up for yourself. You know yourself better than anyone and you make your own choices. It’s about being human everyday and showing up as you. If you’re a dad then it’s about showing up for your kids not to play the dad role because you love them from the bottom of your heart. I think we should stop putting ridiculous expectations on men and just let them be them. If you’re content and happy as a man on your own and you want it that way just let it be. Enough of the judgment it’s driving me nuts.

Or, we don't care what people think, we keep wearing crazy things, and most people continue to not take us seriously and our life is hindered because of our choice. We wear suits because we know that if we do, our chances go up because people's opinions go up and that's sometimes crucial to us. Therefore we want to wear a suit. We might dress up because we want to, we might dress down for comfort when we want comfort. We already wear whatever we want, we just don't want to show up to a job interview in comfy underwear because that's an uncomfortable situation. Not because of the underwear but because of people. Fashion is all about wearing something crazy, then it catches on because enough of society decides they approve. And usually that isn't the majority, at first. No one is saying that women can’t wear a dress or a man can’t wear a suit and tie- the message is that we should let others wear whatever they want! How about no. It's that kind of thought process that has dudes cutting their genitals off thinking they can be girls. It's that kind of thinking that has people allowing kids to take hormone medication and even have surgeries that will have permanent irreversible affects before they can even experience real life. What's next? Allowing pedophiles to be with children? It's already considered rude and hurtful to call them pedophiles... We are now supposed to call them minor attracted people. Besides, how is it mean to say that certain types of things are meant for girls? It's literally just an opinion. So now you are essentially saying that nobody is allowed to even speak an opinion. In order to have an opinion, you have to risk offending someone else. You will create a society with authoritarian rule. Everyone must think and believe this way. Otherwise, it's gulag and reeducation camp for you. I promise you. That's what's coming. We are having our rights stripped away from us one by one. And it's all under the guise of feelings.

@@voskresenie- Well if he married the first woman he fell in love with good for him, but you need to understand that that is rare and unrealistic to expect of everyone. Most people need to test out different people before settling for one. "Loving father" nice to know his children are straight and cisgender "Worth millions" so? "Not afraid to speak his mind" yeah and neither are many many people who disagree with him who are more feminine Most importantly though, I think doing what you want without caring what other people think is way more manly than only doing "manly" things all the time. If you genuinely only want to do "manly" things all the time, that's fine, but shaming men who don't and do want to do more feminine things is definitely the least manly thing you could do
@voskresenie-
@voskresenie- 6 ай бұрын
@@nickronca1562 "that is rare" agreed. "and unrealistic to expect of everyone." nope. it's not. the key is to avoid even considering falling in love with someone who you haven't screened for marriage material and dropping them as soon as you realize they're not. then you don't fall in love with someone who you wouldn't marry. then you marry the person you fall in love with and commit to staying with them till you die. then you actually put in the work to make that happen. it's not unrealistic or even difficult -- it's literally how marriage worked for nearly all of human history and still how it works in many parts of the world -- it just runs completely counter to the plan mainstream society pushes for finding the 'perfect' someone for you. the tragedy is that the more people you date, the /further/ you get from finding that 'perfect' someone, since you begin to compare each future partner to the best parts of all previous partners and consequently, they will fall short in almost every way. The things you need to make a marriage work are A) attraction (but not necessarily the most attraction you've ever felt), B) shared values, and C) a willingness to stick with the other no matter what. All of these are discoverable within a couple months of dating. Most, I can tell within 5 minutes of a first date. (C) seems to be stating the obvious -- 'of course people who refuse to get divorced don't get divorced' -- but it's reflected in marital satisfaction, too, not just divorce rates. You'd think, all things being equal, that people opposed to marriage would have lower marital satisfaction rates, since they could be stuck married to someone they hate for 60 years whereas a couple not opposed to divorce would divorce after a few years of that, but the opposite is true. Turns out, when you're stuck with someone, you more often than not find a way to make things work.
@nickronca1562
@nickronca1562 6 ай бұрын
@@voskresenie- You are literally contradicting yourself. Do you want people to marry the first person they fall in love with or do you want people to marry who they are attracted to, have shared values with, and a willingness to stick with your partner no matter what? Because that isn't always the first person who you fall in love with. Also what even qualifies as "falling in love" because that is going to mean different things to different people. Does merely being physically attracted count, or does there have to be an emotional attraction? Some people who are merely physically attracted but not emotionally wouldn't say they're in love, while others will. Some people who are merely emotionally attracted wouldn't say they're in love while others will. And what's wrong with falling in love, dating, then afterwards realizing you're too incompatible with each other? That makes no sense why you shouldn't be allowed to do that. Yes, your partner doesn't have to be perfect, but they should at least be compatible. Not to mention you can't control who you fall in love with. There are many many reasons why you either can't or don't want to marry the first person you fall in love with, but you're setting an unrealistic standard where what? You're either not allowed to fall in love until you're engaged, or you're supposed to end up marrying them (eventually) the moment you fall in love even if it's on a first date. Also fuck you for divorce shaming, as if some people aren't better off with it. If it's that bad where the literal only thing preventing two people from getting a divorce is feeling like they "aren't allowed to" then that isn't them making it work, that's them forcing themselves to stay with each other even though it isn't working, you jackass. Sometimes you need to date or even marry multiple people because shit happens. Things don't work out. Some people aren't as nice as you though. Some people have incompatible wants or needs. You might be dating someone who you absolutely can not tolerate the beliefs of. Maybe you can't tolerate them for a different reason. But if someone is dating someone you can't just expect them to not fall in love with the literal person they are dating if not had already been in love, and if they do fall in love with the person they are dating you can't just expect them to 100% guarantee that they get married to them. I guess what I'm trying to say is that that is one of the most gaslighting things I have ever heard.

yeah, if you aren't actually hurting anyone (and anyone of any sex or gender wearing ANY clothes or cosmetics they choose is not hurting anyone) it really shouldn't be shamed. mind your own business type shit. just a dude in a dress is not a threat and the worst it will "influence" the kids is that maybe they will grow up confident in themselves. now people who are putting themselves on the internet like Dylan Mulvaney, I mean you kinda accept the chance for criticism and hate when you become a celebrity. I feel as a woman Dylan is mocking the experience of being a woman. and I have several friends who happen to be trans women and my own (soon to be) husband is effeminate and cross dresses. but yeah, if you're literally going onto a stage, no shit you're gonna get hate. if Dylan removed themselves from public life, just did their thing living a normal life, literally NOBODY would care and I would say it's fucked up to even criticize it.
