With ballistics-grade carbon fiber and state-of-the-art technology, this 700 horsepower hypercar looks like it came from a top-tier racing garage. But it was actually made by one man, in his small shed in Australia. Named the Quantum GP700 (for 700 horsepower and 700 kg), this open-top Formula 1 inspired racecar can do 0-60 faster than most Koenigseggs. It has an open-wheel design with exposed carbon wings on either end. The GP700 might not be the next cheap supercar- but it does have some insane record-shattering performance and an outstanding design. Would you pick this homemade DIY supercar over a KTM XBOW or Ariel Atom?

It only goes 198… the acceleration is fast, but that’s all. Every Koenigsegg goes faster I think.

Cool car, but a new Corvette will be just as fast for under 100k, and you get to take a passenger. It also will sound good.

I highly doubt that, let alone be as fast on track. This car is a race car but I guess it can be categorized as an hypercar..

My Audi V10 GT40 replica should be close on that acceleration with a faster top end, it's not looking like 1:1 at the moment but there is plenty of time for that, I have everything for it & I'm in it for less than £40,000, & that's with both Turbo's, I've built a number of cars GSXR1000cc bike engined Suzuki Capaccinno, V6 MR2 SW20, V6 Mazda RX8 & I build bikes for pleasure & pay, but it is hard keeping focus when you build for yourself, I sat for myself but the 3 aforementioned have been stolen by my beautiful wife & kids, thankfully my Princess(granddaughter) is only 11 so I might just get to play with this one for a while. ps don't diss the shed, Britain built an Empire using the things that were built in sheds. If he could keep the price to affordable he would sell plenty of these.

Way too much money. no race performance claims, no class of racing at least here in the USA. I can buy a formula Atlantic car new and race if for an entire season for $600k. 4g cornering and faster around any track. ok

way too much money. just get a formula Atlantic if you have $600k and you can race it for the entire season. FA is much faster.
