This was unexpected...Nutrafol 1 - Month Review

After dealing with hair loss due to PCOS, I decided to try the hair supplement, Nutrafol. I wasn't expecting to see results (if any) for at least 3-6 months. To my surprise, I'm seeing results after just one month, but it's also causing another problem that may prevent me from using Nutrafol.

I planned to start taking it but I know a few people who did and said their hair fell out when they stopped. I don't want to take it forever, especially for that price.

Sometimes when I take vitamins with capsules it messes with my stomach so I take them out of the capsule. I will take them on the spoon are a smoothie, Also when I was researching Nutrafol I looked at the ingredients and the top on was saw palmetto. I had never heard of that herb before so I did some research and found people with people pcos taking it to help with it. I would look up pcos and saw palmetto. But when I watched some of the videos I heard people say that it gave them stomach issues so that might be the problem. So that also may be the reason why your hair is growing back to because it may be helping with the pcos. Because I people were saying that taking the saw palmetto that they were taking by itself was making them sick I decided not to get the nutrafol what I decided to do is to buy herbal teas that have saw palmetto in it. I am sure the dosage in the nutrafol is higher than in the tea but before I spend the $80 I thought it might be good to get a tea for $20 try it and if I don't have a reaction to it then think about buying the supplement. hope this helps . I do not get your movie reference but in your next video share because I love a good recommend

I was dealing with hormonal shedding last year due to menopause. In November of last year I started using Purador anti-thinning shampoo and conditioner for shedding. Once a week. It took about 2 months but my shedding went from almost a handful a week, to now just a little ball of hair for the past few months. It has no harmful chemicals, no parabens, gluten free, and if you subscribe to the website, they have sales every so often because they are a bit pricey.

I've been using these for about a month too and already starting to see results. Hate to hear you're having stomach pains. I haven't experienced that, but I take the women's balance - not the vegan version. Hope you're able to get to the bottom of it. Your hair looks great!

You have to take them with food, if not it will make your stomach hurt.

I just take a regular multi vitamin by centrum for adults and magnesium glycenite by mega foods. The magnesium glycenite cannot be ingested at the same time as Centrum for adults , or will cause the multi vitamin to be ineffective. Also centrum for adults can cause a stomach ache if taken after dairy or greasy food. These vitamins also assist in hair growth and overall health😊

Hi, are you taking them with food or w/o? For me I must have something in my stomach when taking supplements. If not it causes stomach up set. Your hair looks gorgeous and very healthy.

Maybe you should split the dosing and increase the food intake with each dose. Maybe you’re not eating enough food. It says take with a meal, not a snack. Lol! I find myself doing that sometimes, not eating enough food. Let us know how that worked out!

I have CCCA and was thinking about taking Nutafol or Viviscal Pro, but I figured by the time I took either of those for 10 - 12 months I could have purchased a red light therapy device. So I've decided to do that instead. I can save until I see a good sale in the meantime I'm just taking pumpkin seed oil and turmeric with black pepper in addition to the medicine that my dermatologist prescribed.

I have CCCA as well in addition to the pumpkin seed oil and the turmeric. You may also want to include biotin shots or B complex biotin with vitamin C. I also have positive results, including zinc, magnesium, and vitamin D 3 as well.

I was thinking about taking Nutrifol and was not sure. Not sure if I will with you having stomach issues while taking it. I already had stomach issues I got rid of and don't want nothing messing that up! Lol... Do you take any other vitamins and minerals or in general, supplements? I drink AG1 as my supplement. Wondering if I can take Nutrifol and AG1. I'll have to ask my dermatologist. I'll be following your journey with Nutrifol! Thanks for the information!

I don't like taking vitamins in capsules so sometimes I will take them out the capsule and take it that way or add it to a smoothie. I have never tried nutrifol but it works for other things

when you intorduce new ingredients esp the stuff in nutrofol that can cause bloating and acid like ashwaganda, curcumin and saw palmetto it can cause irritation you need to adapt to it. Sometimes our body just cannot digest it well too. this may be the case. natural supplements, while natural, are like anything we ingest. May be good may cause irritation

It has A LOT of biotin in it too..WAY above the recommended daily dose, so if you're taking it with a multi, it's too high. I take 1 or 2 daily. And rotate with my multi.

Take Famotidine (OTC) it helps with any medication/pills that cause stomach issues😊

Ok this is a weird question but, could the stomach upset actually lead to weight loss? Like if it makes you a little nauseous or reduces appetite is different from gastric pain that could be distracting and require pain relief. Thanks to anyone who’s had experience with this and has an opinion!

I bought them but didn’t finish them because the capsules were too large for me to swallow. I tried really hard to get them down but it was struggle each time. Having to take four a day was extremely rough for me. I finally gave up. I did see a little fuzz the area in question though, however these are pretty pricey.

I don't know if it will work for you but when I have to take large capsules that will float I put them in my mouth take a mouth full of water and tilt my head down so the capsule floats on top of the water near the back of my throat. Then I swallow and the capsule goes down easily.

@@1GoldenBreeze Trust I’ve tried everything. Sometimes they go down and sometimes not. I’m just one of those people who have a very hard time swallowing capsules. I’ve gotten better with pills if they are not too large.

I take Nutrafol and I can’t swallow pills. What I do is eat food and when I’m about to swallow. I slide the pill in and then I can’t even tell the pill is in my mouth. Banana works greet for me too. Hope that helps ☺️

Thanks for sharing your experience with Nutrafol. I was going to try this supplement as I am currently experiencing telogen effluvium which is a common and, thankfully, temporary side effect of my recent bariatric surgery. But I passed after my sister told me that she tried Nutrafol and stopped from experiencing stomach cramps similar to what you described. Some say it’s due to Biotin as stomach upset could be a “minor” side effect of that ingredient. Personally, I don’t buy that as Nutrafol contains only 2500-3000 mcg of Biotin and there are plenty of hair supplements out there with up to 5000 mcg of Biotin with no tummy issues reported, lol. Biotin is not even listed on the ingredient list of the Nutrafol vegan formula. On the topic of the Nutrafol ingredient list, I wanted to share an article with you but it seems that my comment gets deleted if it contains a link. you cannot get new growth unless you target hair and scalp from multiple aspects, not just nutrition. Nutrition won't fix your circulation issue, nutrition alone wont fix your hormones, or detox your liver from toxins increasing inflammation in the body, and especially the scalp. THE HUNGER PAINS!!!! THAT IS GASTROPARESIS!!!!! Slow gastric motility!!! It could be slowing down your gut motility!!!! You can take a 5mg buspar also an anti anxiety med to increase motility. You can get a motility test and they should prescribe it! DONT take reglan, you cannot take it for more than 3 months or it causes tar dive dyskinesia!! That’s only for major Gastroparesis, I had it and the pain I had was absolutely horrific. I’d be throwing up everyday. I wanted to kill myself till I got the reglan. But yours sounds mild, so if you wanna continue the med, try to get some buspar from your gp
