Daniel, Shahbaz, & Anthony review Martin Scorsese's KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON based on the novel by David Grann. At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone, with Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Brendan Fraser. Killers of the Flower Moon releases in theatres October 20, 2023, by Apple TV+ (under their Apple Original Films label) and Paramount Pictures with a streaming release on Apple TV+ coming at a later date.

I've seen several reviews about the film, you were the first to say bad things about DiCaprio's performance, all the critics are just praising him, saying it's one of his best performances

I agree with the other critics. I’ve seen it 3 times now, including Cannes and it’s brilliant. Is it just like the book? No, but that’s because Scorsese came together with the Osage nation (like someone mentioned in this video) and this was a product of everyone working together. It’s a beautiful film and the acting is great. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, of course. I hope you enjoy it.

Di Caprio has never been a good dramatic actor...the only good performance he ever did was Wolf Of Walll Street, which was largely a comedic performance..

@@ChubbyChecker182 bro, DiCaprio has an Oscar, Golden Globe, Bafta and is going for his eighth Oscar nomination, one of the only drama actors who has a decent performance at the box office, a filmography that many actors wanted, maybe you don't like him but don't come tell me he's not a great drama actor

Im not American, but just watched the film. I find the film very white-centric, and I'm tired of films abt POC being led by the perspective of white men and women. It's becoming a trope now. They always make the white lead character 'complex' and humanise their evil-ness (even when they shouldn't). It's annoying. I wish it was from the perspective of Mollie, in the film it said she is stubborn & head strong but the way she carried herself, they just simply made her looked dumb and with no agency. There is no context why she behaved the way she did. I wish they would explore her character more, let us understand her motivation and inner conflict. Give her some agency.

SO CALLED, white people, made da movie. Da Osage, advised, BUTT SO CALLED white folk will never know Osage, so they would rather paint portraitz, of themselvez. I didn't xcuse any SO CALLED white folkz, n da movie. They were just cold-blooded killerz, n my opinion. So whut, DiCaprioz character, SUPPOSEDLY, drank half his wifez poison, 2 SUPPOSEDLY know whut she wuz going thru. He knew whut his Uncle wuz up 2. Even fringe characterz, were n on it & dis kinda malarkey, CONtinuez on, til 2day. So I wouldn't xpect, SO CALLED white peephole, 2 xplore da soul of da Osage. They r still trying 2 find their own soul, 2 dis very day!
