"Feeling" tired is different than "being" tired! Eating produces a reduction of blood in the brain in favor of the stomach; this has the feeling of "tiredness", which, incidentally, is easy to overcome with physical exertion. This is a very minor phenomenon.

the majority of people are running on cortisol and adrenaline, so when they do finally get some glucose in their diet and it turns off stress hormones they feel tired. Running on stress hormones is like spending on credit. at some point you must pay it back. not a good long term strategy.

I alleviated this issue, partially because I stopped doing IF for a while and started to eat breakfast and dinner, instead of wating all the way up until late afternoon for my first meal. It might've been cortisol issues due to constantly not eating during the morning hours.

You could still be doing IF depending on your eating window. I eat a 16/8 most days and can eat one meal at 10 and another meal before 6. If you eat at 8 am, you could still eat by 6 pm and be doing a 12/12 IF

@@GottaSayIt That's what I do every day before doing OMAD the next day, sometimes I feel fatigue, and what I do is lying my head for half an hour (without sleeping) and after some time my body overcomes the fatigue and I don't get sleepy until 00h. I've realized that the lack of potassium also gives me fatigue, like when I eat breakfast at morning without enough vegetables, that's why I try to include cabbage, mushroom and olives for extra minerals, and also onions and tomato, if I want some magnesium I add lettuce although I prefer kale.

daytime tiredness can be overcome with activity, whether physically or with brain stimulation. sitting and digesting can guarantee nodding off, as energy is demand driven. overindulgence in thanksgiving dinner happens when people usually arent active, so a good night's sleep is almost inevitable. 12 hour fast is a gray area in terms of whether its a fast or not, i think. from a mental standpoint, fasting seems more about how long a person can comfortably go without eating even if one is not physiologically fasted.

Eating cooked food makes you tired. It causes the pancreas to work harder to produce digestive enzymes that are found naturally in raw food. Therefore, you should always eat fresh fruit before a meal and a salad with a meal. You can also take digestive enzyme capsules with a cooked food meal.

It happened randomly even I eat small portions, and when it happens I put my shoes on and go for a long walk and walk as fast as I can. And yes I always keep the 12 hours gap before foods intake when I don't fast. 12 hours no food is not considering fasting. That's the rule a normal healthy person should follow. Since I ignore my TV and the couch iam doing very well on bringing down my blglucose to under 90 (75 -87 consistantly. was prediabetic over 20 years without knowing).

I am so glad I found a video that talked about something other than blood glucose rising and dropping. I am hypoglycemic and tiredness has never been my issue. Lately I get so lethargic I sleep for hours. For example, I can drink my protein drink or eat 4 crackers and 2 slices of turkey breast lunch meat. Neither one is a large meal. I can feel the crazy sleepiness coming on in about 10 minutes after eating. I really need to see my doctor because this is not my normal.

Make sure that you're consuming adequate protein in both a single meal and daily. Also, you may want to reduce your organ intake. However, I would still recommend it to some people that have the time and money. I wouldn’t simply compare one to the other, though, because clearly, no one going to university today will forgo the use of the internet.
