I have them both, AO is much better. I have redownloaded TWT several times, just to get fed up and delete it again. If you want to play a decent game of tennis, please go with AO.

I bought the Tennis World tour Roland Garros Edition PC version last weekend because of the announcement ot the Mutua Madrid Virtual Pro Tournament and also because it was on special on the platform Steam, I'm very happy with the game. Thanks for the free add on of players Denis Shapovalov, Alex de Minaur and Carolina Garcia, keep up the good work.

Kudos for doing a follow-up. I'd been following these closely waiting for a sale and presumably they have had updates over time.

For the people who played this games can you tell me is AO better or TWT?

I picked up the new Roland Garros edition and while the value is great at $40 (legends, coach, new players, official courts, etc.), AO is still the better game overall. I just about abandoned TWT Again when I realized that I couldn’t customize hair. While I appreciate the improved authenticity, TWT can’t hold a candle to AO. They need to go ahead and merge these games take menu, RG authenticity, and career mode from TWT, then take customization, presentation, game play, and AO authenticity. Merge the players available, expand the licenses, and let’s roll!

Customisation is what really changes my opinion on which game is better. AO has some amazing customisation features while TWT really only has basic customisation options.

hey brother. i am trying to get understanding on one matter but i cannot seem to find the answer. can i know for each of this game how many local player can it support. i am a big fan of sitting tgt and playing console on the same tv screen. can any of this game support up to four local player. that would win my vote straight

I absolutely love ao international tennis. I love it so much i have on both the xbox one and ps4. I might get tennis world tour maybe dunno yet.

Tennis World Tour is my currnet favorite and has so much potential. The Roland Garros update has been awesome. They havent released a big update yet but my theory is that they are waiting for the next Grand Slam, Australian Open I think. I want them to give the game a bit more variety, make it more challenging, add new outfits and more players.

Apart from the lack of licence in AO2 of some top players and courts overall is a decent virtual game of tennis. The sounds of players, endorsements makes it so realistic and playing in greater than pro level id prefer without any aim marks or stamina levels showing it makes you feel you can control a real time tennis player on the tv .. The shots are pretty accurate, the physic and parabol of the ball trajectories are quite spot on as well .. I was quite impressed with this game more than expectations. Australian open court is immaculate with brilliant graphics

In AO dose the game have Federer and Djokovic or should i download them?

Good review thanks. I bought TWT a couple of weeks ago, it's decent but yes it needs improvement in game play. Sometimes the player abandons a perfectly reachable ball, so frustrating. When the point ends the players always make a strange move like they just tripped on something. Playing a top seeded AI player also gets frustrating, frequently when I have a break point, easy shot, full power and my player hits it slow and centered, so the AI reaches it and smacks the return to the corner, seems scripted with too much weight on the top player. Anyway I hope they keep on updating the game and later on I will certainly also try AO.

Thanks for the review! The customisation and create a stadium has totally made me go towards AO international tennis when it comes to preference however with AO 2 rumoured to come out next year, is it worth still getting it this summer?

AO is much better, I agree Tennis World tour the player movements are just not natural and to me are a bit stiff like they haven't put an interpolation time in the animation blend spaces to make it more smoother like in AO and also you can't do shots that your opponents does, you try and volley and even if you got good/decent volleying attributes, the ball is so slow and basically you have no power. The only things that Tennis world tour has over AO is the career mode and the commentary, I would like AO to have a commentator (obviously it would have to be Australian).

I just got Tennis World Tour for Switch. I noticed that when going to hit the ball, the animation for the player to hit the ball starts without me initiating it. The player will follow through and hit the ball automatically, albeit the ball won't get over the net, but I found this annoying. Is this part of the game, is there a way to shut this off?

Theyre just like last gen VT and TS: TWT is like VT, with better graphics, but some WTH gameplay things, while AO is like TS, with poor graphics, but a funny and more realystic gameplay. They both have yet a great way to go, but they're actually having a good improvement, specially AOIT, whos aging quite well if you compare the 1.38 and the launch version xD

i like AO but the game is straight up cheating you in the gameplay. Sometimes your player just stands there, the AI hits their ball really hard while you evne if you hit it perfectly just barely hit it any harder than normal. AI gets every ball and if you end up with a rally of 20 shots the AI will just use the top spin to somehow curve the ball 20 meters in the field with such an amazing speed that you cant do anything

OMG thats horrible really you can't even play up the same amount of matches like in a real tennis game AO is trash (really only up to 4) i mean really thats like not having the ability to play 12 minute quarters in a (New) nba game. There is a super Nintendo tennis game that allows its players to play to 6 GTFOH i can't believe what decisions these developers make sometimes that kills me. Give people options and not limitations
