To everyone asking if this fits their specific gun as well as some tips: 1. If it has an integral rail on it, (specifically the bottom of the receiver) the non-light version will likely fit, but check in advance. 2. If you have a light on your gun check the Blackhawk website or email them to confirm that the light-bearing version fits your model. The model/version of your light is important so be specific. 3. They have a list of guns that fit the rail adapter and holster on the Blackhawk website. You can also email them if you still aren't sure. 4. The holster has a simple but relatively effective disarm lock function. The gun will have a little bit of vertical play in the holster even when mounted in properly. If some of this play is taken up (e.g., someone is trying to pull your gun from the holster) without the lock being fully released first, the gun will not leave the holster. Use your thumb on the release button as a leverage point to draw until the gun comes free, not just by pulling the grip of the handgun. Using the large button pad that comes with the holster makes this much easier for most medium to large sized handgun models. Test them out to see what works best, takes about 1-2 minutes to cover the options. Practice a few draws slowly then a few more quickly and you should be 100% on the draw pretty quickly. 5. If your trigger is still accessible when the gun is seated in the holster, you need to attach the rail adapter closer to the grip of your handgun. Conversely, if you put the adapter too close to the grip, your trigger guard will become seated before the lock can fully engage. Start as far out as you can towards the end of the gun, then bring it in closer if needed. 6. You can get these off amazon (left or right handed), even in Canada. So, if you have amazon prime, you'll get a decent deal online. Got mine for about 65 bucks Canadian after tax with free 1 day shipping (use longer shipping methods, more eco-friendly, don't be a dick like me). Left handed costs more, so does the light-bearing version. The non light bearing version comes with 2 rail adapters as well so you can have two handguns ready to holster at the same time. Overall it's a solid holster for a decent price and fits a crap ton of handguns with good functionality. One of the very few realsteel-intended accessories that I would ever recommend for airsoft aside from good slings and sling mounts and one of the only ones that can actually save you some cash in the long run (if you buy more than 1 handgun).

It has a feature where if you try to pull your pistol and press the thumb release it won’t work. Mainly for if someone is trying to disarm you that thing is not coming out...genius. That’s why it doesn’t have the push once pull all the way.

Just got one today after finding it in a local Police supply. This is the version made for Streamlight TLR 1 and 2 lights. I was able to take the pistol/light combo and check fit. For anyone that wants to know if it will fit Pistols with manual safeties. Yes. Blackhawk fitment chart shows NO Beretta pistols that fit this (at least the 92 series/all with manual safties). I contacted them and asked if it would fit a Beretta 92A1 with Streamlight TLR-2 light. Their reply was vague and they said it wasn't for manual safety pistols. I then directly asked if it would fit or not. They then said it would. This was before I found one locally to try. I think they are concerned about liability because it is remotely possible, when holstering the pistol, to unknowingly activate the safety because it is in close proximity to the thumb release button (the gap is about 3/16"). Since I converted my pistol to a "G" model decocker only it is a non-issue. The way the holster is designed to cradle the light and lock it in it APPEARS that the safety thing is not likely. I tried to lean the pistol so the safety lever would contact the holster thumb release and could not make it happen. Pros: Not many holsters fit the Beretta setup, this one does. It locks in and unlocks well. Tension adjustable. Adjustable height thumb release button, cant (angle) adjustable, both paddle and belt attachments included, does not contact the pistol (that I can see) so no finish wear, low price/high quality construction. Distance from right side of slide to the outer edge of the holster is only approx 7/16" so really the holster isn't that wide. Cons: Not a "precision fit" (if you need this), fairly large especially the top of the slide/sight channel area, pistol sits a little high in the holster (but trigger is completely covered), holds pistol in by the light so there will be wear on the light housing at some point. Some other dimensions fyi. With belt attachment. 2 1/2" from outside of holster to inside where it contacts your belt. 4 1/4" from top of slide area to bottom of light area. 7 7/8" from top of Thumb release button (with tallest button installed) to bottom of holster. Height of holster not including the thumb button approx. 6 1/4". This holster will only work if your pistol has the correct light attached. It does not include the rail attachment pieces needed for a non-light bearing version. This is long winded I know but hopefully it will answer some questions that I had before I found one.

@JohnW-yv6yp5 жыл бұрын
Hmm, if you have the cash, and haven’t bought it yet I’d look at a Sig or Dan Wesson. The Dan Wesson Specialist is probably the best production 1911 on the market but they’re like $1800-$2000. Springfield’s are alright but their quality control can be hit or miss. And, less important but worth mentioning I dislike that a little while back, in 2017 I believe they supported a gun control bill in Illinois so long as it didn’t hurt them. Kinda anti second amendment imo.

Scott Schraeder No, but I plan on purchasing one. I’m under 21 so I can’t carry a pistol, I was actually looking at this for airsoft. I figure hey, a universal holster that isn’t nylon, or a serpa, (both of which I dislike) this’ll work for any full size airsoft or real pistol I buy, for only $50. Just about perfect.

Just picked one up with a Walther Q5 Match on a trade This is the one with a flashlight now has the little Picatinny shim Pretty cool didn’t have any instructions but figured out pretty easily I noticed the gun doesn’t really even touch the inside of the holster mainly grabs that shim pretty impressive I like how the exterior is rubberized as well my firearm does seem to sit up a bit to where you can actually see a little bit rear of the trigger guard I assume this is normal it does seem secure?I did just mount a Holosun 507C on it I was worried say with a other style holster I would not be able to insert with a red dot on it No problem with this holster heading to the range tomorrow I will need to get a hold of Blackhawk missing one of the three screws that hold the belt assembly together. Or will just Loctite the two and that should be sufficient thanks for this video was just surfing through and seeing if I could pull this holster up to get an idea make sure I have it assembled correctly pretty much common sense.Will b doing Vid Soon on my set up.🍻🇺🇸

It works well for my large frame Glock 22 gen 4 and my duty Glock 19 gen 5. Guys, it is bulky, mine guns have Streamlight tlr-1's so I love the modularity. This holster will also work on the Glock 34/35. There's like almost 2 inches of overhang. I might get creative and hack the unnecessary material. At 42 bones on Ebay or Amazon. I can afford to butcher it.

@UnrelatedNonsense4 жыл бұрын
Gazerz Garage I run a light on my Glock 17 for lowlight or nighttime classes and I also use it as my home defense gun.
@gazerzgarage94874 жыл бұрын
BM so nighttime comps lol, I get that (not totally sure why you’d have a home defense gun holstered though, unless that’s how you mount it to some other place I suppose). What I’m saying is if you have a designated race gun or time trials set up a light serves no purpose unless it’s specifically dark where you’re competing. Weight slows you down almost always, it’s just silly to me to think of a race gun in a holster with a light.
@UnrelatedNonsense4 жыл бұрын
Gazerz Garage I don’t like the idea of dedicated race guns. I use my home defense set up in classes so I can be proficient with it in the event I would have to use it.

I bought this holster and tried it with my G19, Fnx45, sig p226, and with every one of them I could put my finger in the trigger guard through the holster and pull the trigger... not something I want. I returned it. Is it okay? I guess, but I’m not taking the chance of it getting snagged on a piece of gear and going off into my calf. I’ll pay the $120 for the custom holster every time.

@JohnW-yv6yp5 жыл бұрын
It will fit any full size pistol, including the 1911 both airsoft or real steal so long as that pistol has a rail. It comes in 3 options, a pistol with the streamlight tlr1, surefire x300 or no light, but it still needs a rail so that it can accept the adapter. This universal holster works by means of connecting to rail attachments.
