And I did this on my own with the help of shaans videos and on book called hope and help for your nerves and pass through panic by Dr Claire weeks shaans videos also took me to finding her books I’m telling u who ever sees this post i am walking talking living proof u can over come the fear the physical pain bad thoughts all of it I had a panic attack a real bad trip thought I was going to die did not know wat was going on was so scared that something was wrong with me a year ago I couldn’t even talk about it now I do this with a smile on my face yes the last 4 months have been ups and downs but let me tell u my good days are out running my bad days and I know soon enough this will be a thing in the past u have to have hope U have to be strong really strong cuz it’s not easy but it can and it will be I’m goin from 12 er visits to countless hours inside wondering thinking panicking to leaving the house doing things i use to love doing again and I have to thank Shaan for the videos I never worked with him or talked to him but his words was strong enough to really help and push me to say hey I’m fine and I understand now wats goin on and I tell u I have never been better from thinking something was wrong with my heart to not being able to eat or sleep think normal to finding myself all over again and I’m telling u after that cloud moved from over my brain the sun shines so bright now u can recover u can overcome u will be yourself again if u are dealing with anxiety and u think there is no way out take my word for it u can get out the loop u can get better the fight starts today live along side with anxiety do not let it live inside your head after I learned wat was goin on with my body I learned that anxiety is nothing but fear and thoughts that tricked me into thinking the worst I hope this has helped someone

Dr Claire, Shaan and a bit of DARE i have learned to apply these now. Physical symptoms i am a great at letting them in. I have also been able to learn when my thoughts are intrusive and putting them under the anxiety umbrella 🌂. The only thing making my recovery a bit difficult is sleeping at right times due to the what ifs of being able to sleep or not. I know it will take time but when i can sleep with no issues and not waking up a night my recovery will get better. Sleep is important so I will get better at this and recover.

Yes I had the same issues sleeping and I don’t want to put a number of days on how long it took me to sleep with no to lil issues now just believing u can will help u a lil more every night let it happen and face the fight u will come out of it all I’m in my 4th month of real recovery been dealing with it for a year I will say I’m 80% to the end when ever that last 20% comes it will for now I’m steeping on anxiety’s neck and I have never felt better in this recovery

@@jayclutch7093 honestly my first panic attack was on June10th and odd thing was i could still sleep without trying but after my second panic attack on September 17th on a Thursday I still could sleep but then came the heart palpitations on the 21st. Oh boy was I awake for 3 days barely sleep or no sleep. Thats when my downward spiral to anxiety really began. Oddly thought I never had hear palpitations like that again. I haven't had another panic attack since September 17th and its really odd. Its like my anxiety isnow mostly affecting sleep. I mean the physical sypmtoms are there but they come and go really quick which I find odd. My anxiety is really for the most part prohibiting me from getting a good nights rest. Maybe changes to my sleep habits could work and see if that works but still before COVID I was sleeping fine, and doing okay. Glad though I found many of these ways to recover from anxiety early on in my time with anxiety.

@@fawkes.6820 try also incorporating exercise especially cardio, it will help relax the body and lower anxious thinking enough to sleep, and yes it takes time, keep it up.

One thing that helps me, which sounds weird but it helps, is to practice not caring. Not to say you don't care about people but stop caring about outcomes and things. For example " I don't care if I have to sit at the red light" or " I don't care if the grocery store is crowded" because someone without anxiety doesn't think much about those things but someone with anxiety has analysis paralysis and will plot out trips and tasks and get all worked up about simple tasks that we know isn't logical. We get dizzy standing and listening to someone for any length of time and say to ourselves "how can I get out of here?!" When I'm anxious, I'm impatient and when I'm impatient, I'm anxious. They feed off each other.

i no longer have physical symptoms i don't care about them. i'm struggling with the mental symptoms. actually at one point i prayed to god to take my life. it's not that i don't fear death but it's too much to handle. how do i deal with the mental symptoms. crazy thoughts i have. vision problems. depression. not feeling myself as if i'm lost. forgetfullness and loosing the sense of time. confusion. i think i'm traumatized from what happened. and lately i'm starting to fear that if i recovered from this it'll comeback months later with the same intensity as before. any suggestion Shaan!!
