I underestimated this movie @ first bcs its not my typical action-packed or sci-fi type if film im used to him playing in - HOWEVER this right here actually turned out to be QUITE THE QUEST! 9/10

The love story is pretty good, but glorifying Ottoman Turkish sultans and soldiers, who as you all know slaughtered millions of Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians in multiple genocidal actions, is a no-go. Would MGM ever produce a film glorifying the leading figures of Nazi Germany?

@@aqe7914 Producing any film that glorifies the leaders of a genocidal regime like Nazi Germany or the Ottoman Turkish Empire/ Republic of Turkey is unacceptable and immoral. Like Armenians and Turks, Jews and Germans did not live "peacefully for hundreds of years." Mimar Sinan was stolen from his Armenian parents by the Turks at a very young age. Know and check your facts.

@@ltsahagian know your facts, around 1915 (last days of sick man) roots of ultra nationalism were spread by intelligence agencies of Brits, Gladyo aka Ergenekon was founded, It coincides with Arab ultra nationalism and founding of Wahhabi State of Saudi Arabia, the point is to destroy concept of ummah and focus on nationalism, coincidence? Atrocities were planned executed and ignited by agent provacoteurs. Lastly this film actually portrays ottomans as perverts or bloody massacres so you should be happy.
