I kept thinking this was based on a book, especially since it reminded me of a short story I read long ago. Turns out it is indeed based on A.S. Byatt's "The Djinn in the Nightingale's Eye." But judging from this trailer, Miller definitely expanded it and put his own spin on it. I don't think it's necessary to be "faithful" to a book in order to make a good movie, and am excited to see what this unexpected combination will bring!

Wow.. haven't had a trailer get me excited like this in a long while. And unless my eyes deceive me... in the clip with the two ladies at the door... the one on the left is Melissa Jaffer who played Utu-Noranti Pralatong on Farscape. Even though it doesn't have her as credited I'd be surprised if I'm wrong.

I loved this film. So creative and full of imagination. It's what story telling in movies is all about! I wish it had been marketed better because it's not getting the attention it genuinely needs.

This was a great movie , I saw it for free online . A must see if you like great story telling . The visuals were superb !!!
