Hi KZfaq Family,
Let's do what we love and love what we do. The perfectly imperfect of making over thrifted finds.
Crocks and canisters are something that are very common in a thrift store. So in this video I will be sharing the process and vision for these items using some IOD and Re-Design stamps to bring them back to life. And also sharing with you some Dollar General found items to up cycle and with Annie Slone lacquer we can make them out door safe. Along with using some of Tim Houtz beautiful decoupage paper.

G.Snap. the pigs and birds are such a bonus find. My mom would love the birds. Once again, every time you say “gingerly”, it tickles me. PS the crock set=perfect with a black top. Thanking God for the opportunity to sit in gorgeous sunshine to watch our favorite Ginger snap.😘

I’ve been enjoying all of your beautiful work for awhile now, but today I felt compelled to comment! I loved everything thing-from the beautifully decoupaged dragonfly (such a bargain price for all of your hard work), to the flowers, to the canisters, apples, birds and right down to those pigs! They actually looked proud to be looking so good! You take such pride in your work from painstaking cleaning everything and prepping it to finishing it nicely and making sure that you give your customers a quality item. Chris is awesome, you guys make a great team. I’m in Illinois but vacation in MI every year so hope to check out your booth some day!!

Thanks for the advice on an outdoor protective coat! I like both of the black items with white chalk paint stencils (crock with rooster, black shelf). I also like the birds on blocks set. The big metal dragonfly and flowers are extremely well done even if they wouldn't suit my decor.

Great video again! I do have a question; why do you concern yourself about flack for covering up thrifted cannisters, etc with your choice of paint? It's your channel, your money, and your business,...all seemingly pretty successful! If people don't like it, they can certainly go watch some influencer spend copious (ridicules) amounts of money on brand-new decor from Anthro or PB. There's lots to watch here on YT. Good, kind people watch you because they enjoy what you do, not so they can tear into you.

I so enjoy watching you doing your flips, you are so thorough with all the steps and care you take with each piece. I have watched other flippers who are not nearly as good as you. They just slap stuff together and the finished project are sloppy. I love your pieces.

Oh my....Oh my !!! The minute you had that Paper in your hand by the Dragonfly.... my heart leaped with a “ oh my is that gorgeous or what?” Grand...grand suggestion from whomever told you about it ! Then on the flowers also... the one with the center “fern” part of the paper... beautiful ! One would never guess Dollar General metal flowers ! Then those 2 different canister sets ... the jar and the sugar jar... I’m in awe ! Those painted birds on the blocks...and those PIGS !! Too cute ! How amazing was the WHITE CHALK PAINT on the tissue paper and Antique Wax over it... just magical. When you remember what they stated out as and look at them now...
