I used to use a Panasonic unit that was almost identical to the unit you have that we used for PC teardowns and configurations over 20 years ago. Very convenient tool to have in your bag of tricks. Nice review.

Same here with that one I use. I used an earlier version at my old job 15 years ago and loved it that when I went out on my own I bought one for myself. I use it everyday it's a good tool.

I have this screwdriver and love it also but it is a prime candidate for going brushless due to its use case. They could shorten the length and move the forward/reverse rocker aft of the joint in the middle which would make it better for tight spaces which is where I mostly need it. It’s still the best value in electric screwdrivers as is.

You forgot to mention the mechanical locking chuck (as opposed to an undependable magnetic chuck). Thanks for this video. Be well.

I used the Hitachi brand one as well for years at my old job and loved it. That's the reason why I bought this one when I went out on my own.

what bits can you use in it? any 1/4" ?

Yes anything that's got a 1/4" shank on it, it'll lock into place. I love this tool and I use it everyday. I've owned a version of this tool for 10+ years.

This one has a 2 speed high/low on it which does fine for me. The low speed on it has higher torque, which I'll use on occasion. For my use here on the shop working on electric fence units, it does and awesome job and I have no complaints.
